I accidentally wore double denim, then because I was rushing, I considered it and went "Nah, CBA". Yes, I am old enough to know better. No, still not bothered. There may be a special circle of Hell reserved for me (7.5a?) but I still can't bring myself to care very much. Is this is a bonus in exchange for everything heading south, rapidly? getting to a certain age? Will I start wearing purple soon, and moaning about the price of butter? What’s all this about “embracing”(?) big knickers? I often don’t wear any knix at all in the warmer weather including at work. I don’t wear short skirts or do cart wheels, so for me an air conditioned under carriage sets me free 😂.

I saw it upthread but black trousers and a coloured top is only outdated IMO when it’s a bright shade of top.
I regularly wear navy, grey, cornflower blue, white or a pale pink with my black trousers. I also wear patterns such as a black and white print or even (gasp!) leopard.
No idea if it ages me but I’m not trying to compete with 20 somethings, just trying to feel good about myself!

I've been wearing purple since my twenties 💜 . I have a purple pashmina, purple coat and purple yoga mat, belt and leggings. Been wondering why there's a no fly zone around me. Will meditate on it and get back to you.

Thongs...I wear thongs, have done for 30+ years, and I love them! Have tried big pants but hate the feeling of the legs drifting over my bum, it's like my arse is trying to eat them. I've tried boy shorts etc and have given up. Nope, I love my thongs, don't like the look or feel of belly warmers. Can't even feel them on as once they're in place they don't move at all. So comfy.

Oh, and I like Crocs! They're foot shaped, unlike so many shoes out there

I’m also guilty of wearing a blue bra (straps showing a tad) and white dress today; I’m expecting a summons. ‘Better though than a so called white bra going grey in my book.

I wear a bra strap keeper to stop the straps slipping down my slopey-shoulders/fat wrestler arms. The last time I saw one of these in the wild was on an episode of Catfish, and the wearer was the vastly massive catfish.

I'm in my mid 50's and last week sinned gravely, I went out in mini shorts that were at least 7 inches above my wrinkled knees and a matching strappy top that (TRIGGER WARNING) showed my bingo wings and you could see my clashing bra 😳

I'm wondering if I will be considered too high risk for the general prison population and be made to serve my sentence in solitary where I will be forced to wear outfits exclusively from Toast and my feet will be permanently clad in the de rigueur Mumsnet saltwater sandals 😳
