SOTD until I washed it off - umbrella for two.

I thought it smelled like stale pee. I cant believe how awful it was for me. Yet it has amazing reviews. Weird how things smell so different for different people.

I’m skipping the October and November blind smelling boxes as they’re not my cup of tea.

SOTN is 4160Ts Captured by Candlelight, inspired by a certain someone on this thread. 😁 😉
The sprayer on my little sample bottle isn't working properly so I only got a thin dribble with each spritz, but I'm really enjoying the plummy, woody warmth of this so far. I'll give it a proper go another day.

I'll be wearing 4160tuesdays captured By Candlelight again today...its just SO robh and deep...happy sigh...

I was wondering if sample A might be captured by candlelight, I know they do a lot of gourmand scents and that sounded similar? (tried it last night - quite liked it - a sweet gourmand, and I get cinnamon, cloves, apples, and some boozy notes)

Sample B smells familiar too. Very smoky/incensey

I like it but it could be too much for some

I wonder if it's serge lutens Cherugui?

I’ve also been having fun with the spice box, just on card so far. B is pretty strong, and too much for me. I don’t think it’s Chergui, which is a fairly deep red colour and which I do like.

SOTD was 4160Tuesdays Rose Ribes, which is my favourite so far of the 4160Tuesdays scents I’ve tried. Had a 15ml bottle which disappeared fast, so have repurchased a bigger one. In my view it’s a very wearable, soft, office friendly modern chypre.

I admit I haven't actually smelt Chergui but it's one of the scents they sell

I rather like B but it won't be for everyone

SOTE is Tauer Lonestar Memories. First proper wearing and it's okay, but not wowing me atm. It's definitely something completely different - I can't think of any perfume to compare it to.

SOTD Sample F from the spice box. I quite like A and D but C smells way too masculine on me (and I actually DO like unisex scents so this is unusual for me). Any ideas what D and F may be?

Hello perfume lovers. I'm sorry to barge in like this but wondered if you could help me. I am very drawn to the scent of carnations which I used to be able to indulge by buying Roget &Gallet Carnation soap which doesn't seem to be available any more. But what I would love anyway is that scent in an eau de parfume. I've never been able to find one though.
Does anyone here like carnation and have a perfume that includes it?

Calvin Klein's 'Eternity' has a strong note of carnations (for me).

The obvious carnation scents for me are vanderbilt and l air du temps
