The only one I guessed right was A Shalimar, the rest were all new to me.

I've managed to view it now...
I guessed A (I dislike most Guerlains)
I recognised E too as I've had a sample of that before (far too boozy for me)

H is also pleasant

I guessed Shalimar too, thought it must be that when I first smelled it and then tried it when I was in duty free and was pretty sure they were the same. I also thought B was a celebrity scent but didn’t know which one.

I think H was my favourite. My favourite in the almond box last month was also an Acqua di Parma - looks like I need to get myself some samples. I just googled and got all excited because they do an advent calendar, until I realised it was £450!

I'm wearing H now :)

The vanilla box reveal sounds exciting. I was trying to see if they'd put up a list of the fragrances on their website, but I don't think they have yet. Will have a look when they do.

SOTN is Shazam, which I'm loving for Autumn.

Wow @CorneliaStreet that's an expensive advent calendar. Yes, the vanilla box & the reveal sounds like fun.
Unfortunately Vanilla is my kryptonite & even my kids beg me not to wear it!
Sotd is Clinique Wrappings for its first outing this Autumn. It's Out of stock everywhere, even In Harrods. I'm hoping it's not discontinued 😢

This weekend will be spent sorting summer stuff to go in the loft and clearing the summerhouse.
Next weekend is my big birthday 🎂 so I'm going to try and get as much done as I can this weekend.

SOTD was Mon Guerlain, SOTE is By the Fireplace. The weather is awful here today, chilly, windy and raining, so needed something comforting.

@667TheNeighbourOfTheBeast i don’t know the perfume you have posted but I wonder if you might like Kiel’s Musk? It comes in various forms and isn’t too terribly expensive. If you have a counter near you might be able to get a sample.

There's been a roaring wind and lashings of rain all day here too. Have been watching from the window eagerly, but glad I'm not out in it.

The pumpkins and logs look amazing - so snug for autumn @Chevyimpala67 I love seasonal furnishings and ornaments.

SOTD is Shalimar. Having previously thought of this as quite a spring-like perfume, I'm slowly coming round to its autumn/winter appeal.

Happy October! Definitely feeling like Autumn here too now, but we still have a hosepipe ban so probably lots more rain needed.

SOTE yesterday la petite robe noire - I kind of love this. it reminds me a bit of Angel - it's a sweet gourmand with patchouli, but the notes come through much more clearly. Cherry! Licorice! Patchouli! Younger me would have been all over this (Angel was my date night perfume)! I really like it but not sure I'd wear it a whole lot. Getting "naughty but delicious" vibes.

It’s £150 but the contents look amazong - includes a 35ml of the new MFK fragrance for example, and all 12 are niche/high end brands.

SOTD will be Mitsouko.

As advent calendars go, that looks like a pretty good price for some high end fragrances @AprilLady ! I kind of prefer getting samples for myself, but would probably be thrilled to get it as a present.

That's a good price for 12 high end perfumes tbh but not enough to tempt me...too spendy for potential scrubbers

Just wondering what people thought of Byredo? I have fallen in love with so many of their scents but they always seem to get a lot of criticism in the fragrance community for being weak

I have found the opposite to be true and have never had so many compliments as I do when I wear Gypsy Water. Also recently purchased Velvet Haze which is coconut, patchouli and musk, which I absolutely love

I'm not a fan.
I find them very watery tbh.

SOTE had been Coco, for watching Saturday evening television. The drydown on this is wonderful - an oriental in the grand old style.
