SOTD is the Virgin Violet. I wanted something traditional in the circumstances.

SOTD lazy sunday morning (finished the sample so I must like it enough to add it to the buy list)

No perfume today as I am fake tanning while I WFH, so I smell of chemically biscuits.
Hoping to get my 4160 samples later so will try one out after swimming and bathing this afternoon.

Yes, it’s got that coffee white floral mix. Though I think the Shay & Blue ‘light’ range is a bit strange, in that the couple I’ve tried have been stronger and longer lasting than their main line.

I tried all the Esecentual vanillas on card earlier, looking forward to trying them properly. There are less full on gourmands than I was expecting, there’s quite a mix. There was only one I really didn’t like.

Ah! I wonder if it's the same one I wasn't that keen on?..

I confess to an autumnal amber and spice splurge on PP. I went for the oils as they seem to last better.

Loving Serge Noire (and it smells amazing on my husband too) and Amber Absolute. I can see those becoming staples as the weather gets colder.

SOTM is Portrait of a Lady. I say 'morning' as I'm off to the dentist later and don't want to suffocate the poor woman. It really packs a punch.

Dh away with work for a week so no doubt the plagues of egygt wiil descend 🙄

Sotd will be one of the escentual vanilla samples I think...

Ha, my most commented on perfume is Fancy Night by Jessica Simpson!
It doesn't smell like a generic celebrity fragrance and anyone who asks is surprised by my answer. It's rich and papyrus-y and clean all at once. Love it. Discontinued now but you can sometimes get decently priced bottle on eBay.

Oh SOTD will be Slow Explosions - Imaginary Authors. Another sample I'm trialling. I like the Apple-y top notes blended with cashmeran but not sold yet on a full bottle.

It was one of the later ones, G I think. It smells really indolic to me, probably got jasmine or tuberose - I struggle with those.

SOTD is a Rituals EDP that came with the shower and body care bundle I got recently. It’s called L’Eclat and is lovely and woody, sandalwood I think.

I love Kyse usually but I can't make up my mind on this. Sometimes it's like a delicious creamy custard, other times I think stale milk. I'm using it up wearing it after a shower before bed as it's comforting but I'm not sure I want to smell of it
