Sadly, not much. Trying to actually sort stuff is really tedious.
Then dh was being difficult.
Ugh.
I'm feeling a little under the weather too, which isn't helping.
Then I got an amazon delivery of 3 x books I pre ordered months ago (I'm terrible for this!) So definitely no perfume in September! 😬🤭

Noo, how can it be the end of August already. Have found that although I wasn't too fond of Wood Jasmin on me, it's absolutely delicious on my dressing gown - have a bit of the sample left so will have to try it on sheets.

It's turned really autumnal here, jumpers are on. SOTD Captured by candlelight layered with almond.

I'm sitting on an interview panel later so I'll probably be in pp mmm whispers in the Library

SOTD is PP dupe of The Bewitching Jasmine. Perfect for today's weather.

I'm a teacher and back to school tomorrow. I'm deciding whether to reminisce about summer with something like Beach Walk or hit the autumn term running with something more like By The Fireplace.

SOTD a sample of Viktor and Rolf Good Fortune which I'd just reviewed for my blog. Nothing ground breaking really. There's a touch of anise for about 5 minutes and then it's the old jasmine/vanilla combo AGAIN.

I'm SO bored of jasmine and vanilla combos. It's been done to death imo.
(I like both jasmine and vanilla BTW but it seems to me that every mainstream release for the past few years has been jasmine and vanilla...Avon particularly..)

I'm utterly fed up today. I shall be spending this evening filling in forms for compensation for the water damage.
It could take them 28 days to even look at the claim, apparently 😡😡😡😡

I will never use AO again. Oh, and the t k maxx perfume arrived totally bashed up so that being returned. Grr.

Oh @Chevyimpala67 I hope your day gets better! I know what you mean about jasmine and vanilla. I am so over it. I don't know why they thought it would be a good idea.

SOTE is Electimuss Trajan. Apparently this (like approximately 50% of the perfumes in the world, it would seem) is a dupe for Baccarat Rouge.

@Chevyimpala67 that little pot is genuine Limoges. Done deliberately so it can have a second life. I keep earrings in mine.

@CorneliaStreet I have a full set of Electimuss samples and I went through them one by one and couldn't find one I really loved. Did you like any of them? It was all a bit oud-y for me.

I've been wearing 4160 Tuesdays Court of Ravens a lot lately. I love that retro/sexy nuance, like dressing tables and last night's clothes. I rate it more highly than POAL, although it does have similarities as well as differences ( not least the big price difference!)

SOTD is YSL cinema. I've had two very long, stressful days at work. Working from home today but my head feels fuzzy now the stress is starting to wear off. I have about 150 emails to catch up on and it's taking me a few attempts to read half of them and understand what people are asking 🤦🏻‍♀️
