Sotd is my new Velvet Orchid and Cardamom from The Bath House. I thought cardamom was suitably autumnal though it's actually still pretty warm here.

The Escentual box arrived today. Tried A&B think I know what A is and B is familiar however I can't really pick out the vanilla note.

That sounds like a nightmare @Chevyimpala67 and v stressful. I sometimes think the companies do it deliberately to be difficult - I returned a large purchase last month and it took a week of long, protracted phone calls to get my refund, and then another month of chasing to be paid in full. Sending calm and positive vibes.

SOTD has been 4160Ts Shazam.

SOTN is TF Amber Absolute - smoky frankincense, spices, and salty, richly toffeed amber - for the first day of meteorological autumn. It's here! 🍂🍂🍂

The orchid and cardamom sounds lovely @musicmum75 (I do love cardamom).

Also the amber absolute @FestivelyScent -- I can see this no buy September is going to be a bit of a challenge :)

Weather grey and have hoiked on a black polo neck so it must be autumn. But have a day off to go meet some friends in London who I haven't seen since before the pandemic so feeling upbeat.

Anyone know when the escentual smell along begins?

The Facebook group wear days start on Monday 19th. It’s four Monday to Thursday that week, then the second four Monday to Thursday the following week, with the reveal at 8pm on the Thursday night of the second week.

I’m not going to be able to wait that long though! I’m away at the moment but the samples arrived at my house yesterday and I’ll be having a sniff as soon as I get home 🙂

Cardamom perfumes sound amazing and right up my street, as do incense-y vanillas.

My blind box hasn't arrived yet. Will give it until next week, then I'll write and ask if Escentual know anything.

SOTD was Kayali Vanilla 28.

SOTN is Ambre Orient. It's so nice to be able to walk around doing things without sweating.

SOTD was FM Hiver, and SOTE is Diptyque Geranium.

@CorneliaStreet I recently discovered Cecile (and Aubine) and they are my new faves. Absolutely gorgeous!

Tried the new (ish) Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrance 724 in a shop today. Really bright bergamot opening, white flowers, then dries down to musk/sandalwood base but still with some citrus. Perfectly pleasant clean smelling scent but I wouldn't buy it which is just as well as it's £££.
