This is edition 33 (!) of the long running perfumista threads.

Oh no @Chevyimpala67! That’s a shame.

I’m away this week and only brought travel sprays of JM Peony & Blush Suede and Paco Rabanne Olympea with me, so having a bit of a boring week perfume-wise.

Loving hearing about everyone’s collections. I’m pretty cautious about buying full bottles so only have five or six 30 or 50ml bottles, plus a few cheapies from Next and M&S. I do have about 15 or so 10ml travel sprays of various things though and at least 100 samples, probably more like 150!

I’ve got a box of samples that I thought were wrong for the season when I tried them this spring/summer and put away for autumn, so looking forward to trying those again when the weather gets colder, plus breaking out By the Fireplace and Angels’ Share again, of course.

Yes! Summer is definitely the time to break out the bright, floral scents. I'm loving my new bottle of Gucci Bloom right now.

Phew! That was a memory workout. There are probably a fair few I've missed from both lists but I'm too tired to check. Those are what I wear regularly.

I then have samples... But we won't talk about them. 😂

I'd definitely like to add in more summery Orientals and Ambers into my S/S collection, and also more chypres. They are my two favourite families and I'd like to wear more of that style in summer too. I definitely do miss them hugely when I put my A/W perfumes away.

Oh wow, those lists! I'd be here all night if I tried to post my FBs, I have a lot too many.

The list I identify most with is @Judystilldreamsofhorses, I've often thought we have similar taste and from that list we definitely do.

I ordered a sample of the new cherry Kayali and it arrived today. Thought I'd love this but no. It smells like cherry scented Pledge furniture polish. Am very disappointed. So much so I've forgotten its actual name.

These perfume lists are inspiring! Absolutely love them! I’m going to slowly and carefully add to my tiny collection. I’m so tempted to try POAL. Will have to wait until I’m next in London to give it a go.

Off to collect my cousin from the airport soon. She and another cousin and uncle are surprising my mum with a visit - which is lovely - bit mum will go into full on panic mode. Sigh.

Loving the lists! I have been collecting perfume since I was a child. I was always fascinated by my Mum's perfumes so my Dad bought me a sample set on an aeroplane on a business trip. It began a lifelong obsession.

I have never actually listed them :/

I might do it when I get home from Spain :)

How many bottles do you all have open at the same time? Although I store mine in a cupboard I'm paranoid about them going off...

I store my perfumes in a cupboard too @Alienbigcat45 . But I do have a summer & winter rotation, and a lesser spring & autumn one too. Plus I always try to keep them in boxes. I've only had a couple of perfumes turn on me over the years. One was a vintage Safari & the other an Annick Goutal.

Thanks, good to know it's rare for them to go off...might be time to open something new...

Apologies as I have been MIA for yonks due to RL being awfully shit (and another one whose perfume love was temporarily buggered by Covid) but I am trying to recover my perfume mojo. I have missed all my fragrant friends! (Although there seems to be a lot of NCs so I'm not really sure who is who  although @Chevyimpala67 you're obvious because of BTF love  which I still don't like).

In an effort to regain my mojo I have ordered the Escentual almond box as eating marzipan almond is my favourite thing ever so look forward to joining in  Today I am wearing Chanel 19 which was a get well present from DH and am waiting until next month to get my Autumn perfume box from the wardrobe. Loved reading everyone's full lists!

I would like to celebrate by getting a new perfume, which one would people recommend as I have seen a Kayali and a Killian mentioned a lot in recent posts? Even better if the PP dupe is as good as the real thing

I also meant to say @Alienbigcat45 I also rotate my perfumes (I like this as my memory is crap so it's like getting brand new perfumes every season plus I have limited bedroom shelf space.) I store FBs in their boxes when they go in the wardrobe but when they come out for the season they are unboxed. I do have more decants and samples than FBs though. I like to keep these in different boxes according to category (eg vanilla) but occasionally recategorise them as I like sorting and labelling clearly have far too much time on my hands these days

(I also like to keep the FB boxes in case I go off them and decide to sell them on eBay, they hold their value better.)
