Dior Homme Intense is melting off me tonight. It's bypassing the lipstick scent and heading straight for vanilla. Wishing I had my all-time favourite perfume with me, Jo Malone Wild Fig & Cassis.

I cannot wait for autumn!

I'm dreaming of autumn too! There are two fans currently whirring away in the sitting room here... And I'm still too hot. I've actually been spraying my autumn/winter scents on little papers. These are sitting on the side table next to me so I can sniff regularly and imagine wearing them in the crisp, cool air (-I must sound crazy-). 🙃

I don't think I'm built for the heat either @Chevyimpala67 Give me snow, ice, and frost any day - I feel energised in that sort of weather. I just feel ill in the heat. I was actually thinking of booking my hair appointment this week, but wilted at the thought of sitting there with all those hairdryers going and no aircon.

My perfumes don't seem to smell the same in this stifling weather @ThreeImaginaryBoys Even my summer favourites. They just seem to wither away to the base and smell so flat.

SOTN is powder Samsara, as I'm still feeling delicate. Dreading the thought that this will be our summer from now on. 🥵

Fruity refreshing Citrussy sherbet that doesn't hang around. But brilliant in hot weather.

SOTD Byredo Gypsy Water. Yesterday was Heeley Sel Marin.

Just had a shower in b&bw snowy peach Berry and had a liberal spray of s&b white peaches 🍑

Feel much fresher now 🙂

I am fortunate in that I am able to hide from the heat indoors (not that it is much different temp wise in here to out there), but absolutely nothing of any interest has happened here today. I am simultaneously bored senseless and too tired and hot to do anything!

SOTD was a generous spritzing of the Coty Lavender Cologne my mum gave me. It has now finished (there was only a tiny bit left), so I will be getting Yardley's Original English Lavender, I think, to use after long, hot, relaxing showers.

SOTN is Miss Dior Originale, which is doing sterling service and smells delightfully cool and composed.

SOTD is L'Eau de L'Eau. It's got real staying power in this heat.

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to buy Diptyque dupes?

DIY day today.
Pretty much done (started early due to the heat) but now have a tip run and b&q visit to do. Ugh.

Not quite 100% but getting there.
So all the perfumes I was going to eBay have changed. I've listed a few this morning & already sold my Aedes de venustas Signature. I've just bought a tester bottle of Dioressence from a Facebook perfume site, which is a complete blind buy. So I'm hoping I enjoy it .
Sotd is Pomelo Riviera - salty, tangy grapefruit .

great news @Cantonet - I found it was a bit iffy for a week or so and then suddenly just bam, completely back.

SOTD is Chanel Pour Monsieur.

Pp only have three Diptyque dupes @ThreeImaginaryBoys but they are not the more sought after fragrances and two are out of stock. I'm not sure about other dupe companies though, pp is the only one I've ever tried.

That's fantastic news @Cantonet 😊 Do perfumes smell a bit more like their usual selves now? I remember you saying things didn't smell the same for you before.

I really like Desert Eden @Chevyimpala67, it’s my favourite of that EL range.

SOTD is E Coudray Musc et Freesia. It’s very light and perfectly inoffensive, but nothing more.

It’s still ridiculously hot here though we went down to the beach first thing for a swim and the water was freezing, very refreshing!

SOTD is Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Bergamotto di Calabria. A blast of citrus freshness that's perfect in the heat but sadly not very long lasting.

Ooh so tempted by cuir de russie. I don't really know leather fragrances, I only know the the John Galliano Diptyque candle is leather and one of the loveliest things I've ever smelled. Just checked out the site and they have 25% off so now to decide between a discovery set or a full size...

Oh, it's amazing @chilliesandspices and I'm not usually a leather fan
