Thanks @Puddinandpie! I cannot claim any credit for my nails as it's always a Gelish manicure. I tend to have one every 3-4 weeks (although I try to occasionally give my nails a break) as it just gives me one less thing to think about and helps me feel a bit more "put together", I strongly recommend!

@EllaPaella that's a great coat, where's it from please?

@toucaninjapan I hate workplace dramas, hope yours gets resolved soon! @Sooverthemill keeping my fingers crossed that you and DD remain COVID free 🤞.

Autumn has barely begun and I'm already feeling I need more knitwear, particularly as I'm trying to be a bit more frugal with putting the heating on.

@toucaninjapan thank toy my whole house is very heavily inkeeping with the gothic victorian/victorian era I just love all the colours of that time! And your dress is a gorgeous colour, one of my favourites actually, you always look so fresh and vibrant 🙂

@Cardigansalltheway I have often wondered about the gel manicure and how long they last whether it chips etc, but I might just have to get it done one time, I usually do fake nails but they absolutely muller my nails! Absolutely gorgeous jumper by the way colour suits you really well!
I keep spotting loads of lovely jumpers on shein but I'm gonna have to sit on my hands for the time being as I've got so many already (and there bulky so take up to much space in the wardrobe)

Thanks for the dungarees love. I had been looking for a pair for ages. Went to see ds yesterday. He's very happy. Love the yellow dress @toucaninjapan . I hope the workplace drama settles down soon. We seem to have had a lot more dramas since covid. I think everyone is a bit more stressed. Hope your husband keeps his covid to himself. My husband didn't catch it when I had it. Yesterday sweatshirt Jack Wills, trousers Olsen.

@Cardigansalltheway just from New Look. Was pretty cheap and is actually well made and very cosy.

Post meno bleeding at the weekend. Doc had a peek. Off for a scan in the next few days then we'll see. Am feeling just a bit shredded and not at all in the mood to make an effort. Boo.

@faffadoodledo if it’s any help to you I had that too and I had 2 biopsies at the very start of covid plus a polyp removed and it was all okay. The procedures were fine though painful and I had pain relief the second time. Ask for it. Good luck

Blimey it's cold 🥶 properly feeling like winter today. I did a sea swim this morning and felt like I needed by neoprene gloves and socks again for the first time since May.
Wrapped up warm now, even got thermals on as I'm trying to resist putting heating on.

I've been rubbish and failed to post again. Things with the house move seem to be moving rather quickly all of a sudden and we've been here, there and everywhere visiting friends, too, so been a manic few weeks. Hoping we might be moving next month, but I fear that could be a little optimistic!

Off to London for work today so taking some time on the train as a chance to catch up!

@happytobemrsg there used to be some cheap tie strap unbranded dungaree sellers on eBay that might do the trick? Think they were about £8 and came in loads of colours. They weren't great quality but I bought some when breastfeeding DS before I committed to Lucy & Yak and they were fine.

As I had set my heart on being Mario for my Halloween party like my oldest DS so I’ve cobbled this together: navy playsuit, red top & tights from SHEIN, the. I’ll add yellow buttons & a Mario hat. Debating on a moustache 😂

Today I wore my pink tracksuit from George as I WFH.

It’s chilly again and because of all the sick people we have the heating on. Really unusually cold I feel for September .

Certain DD has it now , she’s really unwell and sky high temperature. Going to test her again as soon as she wakes. She’s eligible for treatment meds. I still feel under the weather and a bit crap but can definitely keep going. Like a cold not flu

It's never too early for velvet! I've been wearing a few velvet camisole tops all summer, apart from when it was very warm, and have a skirt and several play suits that are back in regular rotation.

@EllaPaella I find New Look surprisingly good quality for certain things - I've had a pink raincoat from there for years which looks far more expensive than it was.

@Sunsea21 love that vintage jacket, @happytobemrsg great fancy dress - it's so much more fun to pull things together yourself than just hiring a costume.

Never thought I'd say this but I'm actually enjoying the cooler weather after such a long summer, particularly as the sun is out. I'm sure I won't be saying this in the depths of November!

Realised this morning that most of my jeans are mom jeans & so when worn with boots they look better with bare ankles. Not sure how long I’ll be able to keep this up!

Remembered last night that I have my Chelsea boots in tan also. Gave them a whirl with my new beige jeans & I like it! Enjoying the tonal look today.

I am trying to be more mindful of what I've got in my wardrobe and not fall back on the usual rotation of favourite outfits.

Skirt - ancient H & M
Top - charity shop. Love this, looks great with jeans and is longer at the back so looks fab for witchy Halloween costumes too!

Boots - my trusty fur lined rocket dogs
I wore my leather jacket with this.

@Sooverthemill so in awe of your knitting skills, both those jumpers are amazing! Good luck with recovery, hope your Daughter gets well soon.

I'm off work today and procrastinating, I might actually try and make a capsule wardrobe for autumn. Anyone have any tips??
