I'm not sunburnt. I have a huge, itchy insect bite!

its early and I'm in the garden with tea and the dogs. It's extremely pleasant, much like a Greek island early morning. Yesterday was another windy coastal day here and although we sat outside a bit, it was too windy really ( actually like a lot of Greek islands!). I don't think we have the same relentless temperatures others are struggling with. Worried about old dog though. 13 and 3/4 isn't a good time to be trying to cope with the heat. He's Velcro dog at the moment so if I stay inside he will too. No photo yet, in PJs

@Greyhairwarmheart bitey instects love me too. Usually it's mozzies when abroad. But this summer has brought out lots of local blighters.

It was already 26C when I left for work at 07:20 this morning. Forecast still saying 40C later today. I’m very glad to be in my air conditioned office!

20c outside and raining! I'm wearing H&M mom jeans, a charity giveaway t-shirt and a woolen jumper from M&S!

Hope it warms up later as we're supposed to see a Shakespeare play outdoors tonight - thought it would finally be a dead cert for the weather

@Xiaoxiong wow a jumper! I bought some autumn/winter stuff the other day and cannot imagine wearing it yet (although tomorrow looks likely...)

@Greyhairwarmheart i used to think attracting insects was my superpower - but since menopause (fingers crossed) i seem to have been much less affected.

Hmm! Post vanished - must be the heat, lol. Air conned office yesterday was fab - didn’t even notice the weather until I got off the train home and the heat hit me! Today however, in my bog standard desk-fan-only home office things are a bit sweatier! Slip dress from All Saints and a pink sports crop top thing from Nike. I did put on shoes - Nicholas Kirkwood - but they have been abandoned as I think my feet are three times their normal size, lol. Panting dog Models Own..

Gym kit. Just done an hour PT. Soon i will just be in pants and a sleeveless top

Indoors it's not too bad fortunately but just came outside to sit in the garden and wowzers! 🥵🥵 As soon as dc are home I am heading to the beach and getting in that sea!

Just shorts and vest here. Have been working from a dark bedroom! There is a breeze here now but it a hot breeze.

I've also been benefiting from an air conditioned office today....floaty being the word of the day

Impulse buy M&S skirt (I was buying school uniform for DS). I think it might be a keeper.

Well we very nearly did melt yesterday. Degree ceremony in central Lonidon. 40 degrees.
M and S dress, Hobbs bag, Clark's yellow flat forms which you can't see and a charity shop straw hat to combat the sun
Husband in rumpled linen and a Tilley hat!

@faffadoodledo I can't imagine how challenging a degree ceremony in London would have been, but congratulations to whoever has graduated and you both look fab.

I have this in 2 different colours. I wore one today and one yesterday (when I wasn’t at work). They are very comfy and light!
