Welcome @Puddinandpie. Well it’s been another heck of a week so PurplecatDog and the Purplecat posse and I are relaxing! No pic as I forgot! So instead, here is a pic of my new doggie, PurplecatDog Junior, lol. Still in Spain in a rescue and coming to me next month - so excited!

Sorry I’ve not been posting the last few days, I’ve been unwell (I even had a sick day off work - unheard of for me!).

No photos of me but here are the outfits I wore yesterday & today.

Yesterday - first day back at work & was still a bit hazy so I wasn’t at all sure it was ok to wear such light jeans with black boots. I was assured by 3 very fashionable people I looked great so I’m converted. Will soon be doing the same outfit with my sage green mom jeans instead.

Today - happy to be feeling better as hubby & I left the DC with MIL & we went to London for a show & dinner. Had a brilliant day. Really needed it!

I've not contributed much because I've been super busy but also a bit under the weather the last week. Feeling extremely tired and a lot of weird sinus pain etc. woke up feeling a little more normal today so hopefully i'll have a bit more enthusiasm for what I'm wearing. I've not got any new clothes (am trying not to buy new) but I did get some lovely knee high black boots from Vinted with some credit and yesterday bought a beautiful new green velvet chair for my living room which I am stupidly excited about.
Loving all the autumn outfits.
@Softpebbles have you been swimming? The sea has been way to choppy here until the last couple of days. Unfortunately DH is away for a whole week so I won't be able to get in the sea unless I can persuade DC to come down and wait for me.

Belated happy birthday @OublietteBravo. It's weird weather at the moment, I was wrapped up in a massive new jumper I bought yesterday and then today it feels milder again so I'm doing lots of layering!

We have family staying this weekend and are off the zoo this afternoon.

looks like yesterday was a briefly respite as I feel a bit rubbish again today. Also AF finally started so a PJ day it is.

ive been struggling to find a good Halloween costume for my party that’s not a witch. I stupidly said everyone has to dress up 🤦🏻‍♀️ DC are going as Mario & Luigi so I thought about going as a DIY Mario but can’t find cheap blue cotton dungarees for love more money so might have to do something else. Why is it the boys get seriously cool costumes & women are stuck with witch or something indecent?! Rant over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@EllaPaella i haven’t been swimming as need to leave at least 6 weeks after my hysterectomy. Have a check up in two weeks so keeping my fingers crossed I’ll get the all clear. Missing it very much.

There really is nothing I need or want at the moment. Rubbish selfie as DH has blocked the mirror with boxes and I am unable to move them 🤦‍♀️

I agree jigsaw is expensive and their sizing is inconsistent now. I’ve not kept anything at all I’ve bought this year sadly but I used to always get stuff from
them so it’s a shame
so, we had a lovely meal but plagued literally by DH testing positive for covid. I knew he shouldn’t have gone to his workplace ( only 3rd day since February 2020) you’d think they’d know better! So we are now keeping him away from us. I’m negative today and will test DD later. I cannot bear the thought of going into hospital with her again. Her chest infections are legendary and she has no immune system as far as I can see! And our nurse isn’t in until Wednesday for advice. I guess we are lucky it’s avoided us so long

jumper: knitted by me, first wear even though I made it in May but it’s been too warm! I didn’t like it as I was knitting it but I do now

Its 100% organic cotton so it's absolutely not itchy! You will almost never see me in anything itchy if that helps as I'm super sensitive and only very occasionally will I suffer!
