Zara’s dress is just a no from me, although I’m sure she be remotely bothered. I like the colour, but I’ve seen her look better. It’s time she had a little change from the high necklines and tried something new.
The bride looked beautiful- I sort of go by the mantra that for the dress to be right you should see the woman, not the dress, and it works for me.
I like the yellow dress on Kate, I’m glad she rewore it. I also like the polka dots.

So… I need your help Stylish Ones!
I need shoes and a bag for a navy blue dress with polka dots for a wedding… ideas?? 🙂😬

@gluenotsoup nice dress - I love navy with polka dots (though deplore all the 80s fuss and frills on Kate's dress today; glad to see your dress is fuss-free ). I agree with Maireas that espadrilles and a raffia clutch would work. Or what about red sandals and a navy clutch? I love navy accessorised with red.

Didn’t love Stephanie’s dress (and married at 24!!) , was a tad Sound of Music for my liking.

I’m going to have a look today for accessories, it’s a very early wedding next weekend and it’s going to be boiling and a long day, so I’ve tried to pick a dress I’ll last all day in and then posh it up a bit with shoes etc. It’s quite nice on because it hangs well, and I don’t know why but clothes have a tendency to always look quite formal on me if you see what I mean so hopefully although it’s quite a relaxed vibe of dress I shouldn’t look underdressed 😬.
dd is going to outshine me anyway 😂, she’s 14 and just beginning to develop her own style, I’m enjoying this bit of parenting because- shock horror- she’s actually asking my opinion and listening to it!!

Loving those pink espadrilles for a pop of colour against the blue spotty dress (which is fab by the way!) Or yellow, or red shoes?
Basically any other pretty colour to give a contrast to the blue.

It's interesting how much William is starting to look like Edward. I did a double take with that photo of Edward, thinking it was William for a moment.

Nice news about Pippa's new baby. I feel for anyone heavily pregnant or on a labour ward in this heat.

I suspect it's nicer in the Lindo Wing than most other hospitals though!

I remember watching a documentary on the Portland and apparently a Saudi princess who was giving birth there demanded that a floor be redecorated for her. That's right, not a room or a suite but AN ENTIRE FLOOR!

Meanwhile the Cambridges are off on their summer holidays. The Mail says Kate looked 'resplendent', although I'm not sure how they can tell at that distance! Can just make out a nice white dress and sunhat though. I wonder if we'll see much of them for a while 😊

I normally lurk on here without commenting but had to break cover to say that photo of the Cambridges' helicopter made me smile as it looks like some bloke is about to be decapitated!

I don't think we'll see the Cambridges until September now, though they might put in an appearance at the Commonwealth Games. It's all right for some!

Haha, not strictly fashion, but can’t help but think ‘that’s the way to go’ - a helicopter in the garden. No worries over delayed flights and airport queues. 😂
