Why does Zara insist on ill-fitting, high neck, short dresses? They do nothing for her.

Lovely tiara on the bride but I don't like her dress. Puff sleeves and sweetheart necklines are too 80s for me.

LadyEloise1 · 10/07/2022 08:36

Princess Anne looked great at the wedding.
Zara's outfit was too high necked. The colour was nice - she obviously got the memo re colour theme - the bride's bouquet was gorgeous.
Lovely to see all the family integrating at Stephanie's wedding.
Loved the simplicity of Stephanie's dress.
The flower girls / bridesmaids looked lovely.
Peter Phillips partner Lindsay is a fashionable addition. She gets it right imo

  • Ascot, the Jubilee and this event. She's a school friend of Zara's - could she advise re fashion choices to suit Z ?
Is the lady giving what appears to be a side eye st Zara's shoes be the bride's mother ?
hopeishere · 10/07/2022 09:01

I loved Kates yellow dress. What shoes would people put with it?? She also had a lovely big hat at one point.

Zara looks terrible. The short skirt with the boobs makes her look so top heavy.

RomainingCalm · 10/07/2022 09:48

I won't comment on Zara's outfit but instead thought you might like some pictures of our adorable mascot opening a new skate park.

I'm just going to throw this out there... I reckon Kate would look fab in Zara's dress, and Zara would love equally as fab in Kates yellow.

Or have I had too much sun? 😂

Gooseysgirl · 10/07/2022 10:07

Well that's a complete and utter frock horror from Zara, and the worst part of all is that the dress cost over £2k 😱

Lindsay and Autumn on the other hand both looked great. Not massively keen on Stephanie's wedding dress.

I like Stephanie's dress apart from the lace insert but she must've been very warm in it!

StartupRepair · 10/07/2022 10:11

I don't think anyone would look good in Zara's dress. It's too short for a wedding.

Maireas · 10/07/2022 10:35

Our mascot is back!
We 💓 Prince Charles (you know the one 😉) thanks, @RomainingCalm!

Any images of the bride's mum, Sandy Pfleuger?

KillingMeDeftly · 10/07/2022 10:43

Mark is divorced from Sandy now too, isn't he? IIRC he had a child with someone else while he was married to her. Or was that while he was married to Anne?

KillingMeDeftly · 10/07/2022 10:45

Ah just googled and it was when he was with Anne. But he and Sandy have split too and his current girlfriend is the same age as Peter Phillips!

Maireas · 10/07/2022 10:53

Yes, Mark is divorced from Sandy, but surely she'd be at her daughter's wedding?
Maybe she was there but we haven't seen a pic.

www.tatler.com/article/princess-charlotte-de-bourbon-parma-wedding
Another wedding. Princess Charlotte de Bourbon Parma gets married in Normandy. She's wearing her mother's meander tiara, and I think looks very elegant.

Oo the placement of the tiara is a bit off

paradyning · 10/07/2022 11:19

The flower girls dresses are lovely there.
Agree about the dress swap! Those high necks are more forgiving on the small of boob. But not sure Kate would show that much leg

AdaColeman · 10/07/2022 11:53

I think Zara needs to invest in a full length mirror, she obviously hasn't got one at present.

She was there, I saw a photo of her with Mark.

Ah, thanks Deftly.

Kate (with George) in blue polka dots today. Looks fine.

KillingMeDeftly · 10/07/2022 13:33

The dress is a bit 80s again with the collar and the peplum. Maybe
Alessandra Rich again?

paradyning · 10/07/2022 13:41

Looks like another Alessandra Rich

Gooseysgirl · 10/07/2022 14:08

Agree it does look like AR again - getting a bit boring now, there must be surely some other designers worthy of some exposure. Nice to see George again - it's noticeable the royal kids are being brought out on engagements a lot more recently. He looks happy to be there!

Whitney168 · 10/07/2022 14:13

Nice for the royal kids to be out more, I agree, but I don't really see the need for rolling poor George out in a suit and tie every time. The poor lad is 8, it's a sweltering day - why on earth can't he wear e.g. a pair of tailored shorts and a short-sleeved linen shirt?

GrouchyKiwi · 10/07/2022 14:17

That video was very sweet and interesting!

Still not a fan of the very 80s look, but I prefer this polka dot affair to the one she wore the other day.

Wee Prince Charles is adorable. I love how they bring him everywhere.

Zara's dress is ... a lot.

I love Autumn's outfit, and Lindsay looks lovely.

Isn't there a dress code for the Royal Box at Wimbledon? Maybe there are no exceptions, even for children.
