How often do you wear make up?

I enjoy wearing make up - but I hate having to take it off at night. So I now rarely wear any. I WFH so it's not like I get dressed up to go to the office. But I feel so much more put together when I have make up on. It doesn't have to be a full face - but some BB cream, some blusher, mascara and lipstick. Am I lazy?

If you do enjoy wearing make up, how often do you wear it? And what products do you put on? I know some people never do, and that's fine (but different from what I'm asking here).

Every single day but to look normal not necessarily to look nice. I’m deathly pale and look very ugly and featureless without it. I would love to be darker with defined features so I didn’t have to bother !

I do my eyebrows with a pencil without fail every day. They are very patchy so I wouldn't feel confident at all not doing this. I also use a pink lip tint every day and usually wear some mascara. I walk the dog every day and even if I was just staying at home all day, these three things make me feel nice for myself.

I'll usually do tinted moisturiser, concealer, powder, bronzer, blusher and eyeshadow too if I'm going in to the office or going somewhere nice like clothes shopping or eating out.

The eyebrows are essential for me and then the rest just makes me feel 'nice'.

Rarely, where I work we are still in masks. I will wear makeup if I am going out but this isn't very often at the moment. I tend to go with tinted moisturiser at the moment.

Every day. Concealer, primer, foundation, eye shadow, mascara, lipstick, brow pen to fill in the balding bits and bronzer at this time of year.

Everyday, I won't leave the house without it, but as pp said, its to make me look normal, not glam.
Loved having to wear face masks in shops as I could get away without make up when I couldn't be arsed to put it on, I just made sure the face mask covered as much of my face as possible!

I put on makeup every single day, no matter where I'm going or what I'm doing. I have a very natural look, so it's only CC cream, a bit of blush, lip gloss and mascara. I do it for myself, no one else, it just makes me feel ready for the day.

I have to ask, why is it such a chore to take off your makeup at the end of the day? I just wash my face and it's gone.

Every day for work and maybe half the time for days off.

I prefer how I look with it but I do find it really boring and chore-like. I apply gradual tan during the summer which means that I can get away with less and not look like the Undead.

I wear eyebrow pencil and powder most days but cba with anything else. I might put on lip crayon for a posh do.

I feel I need concealer/corrector for my raccoon eyes and blush. I often wear lipstick too but it's more because I love it rather than feeling like I need it. If I'm keeping sunglasses/mask on I'll often just wear lipstick.
Everything else I wear every now and then, some days more than others, sometimes every day but because I love how it makes me feel and I enjoy putting it on, not because I need it to look better, though on some bad days I need it.

It's not good for your skin. It's best avoided if possible. I put on mascara and eyebrows every day, and eyeliner so that I look my prettiest.

I WFH too and tend to only put on foundation when I leave my local area, which isn't that often so it's usually an occasion. If I'm going into town then yes. And always on nights out of course.

It makes my skin dirty so I will do a face mask the next day so I like that I can keep it quite rare. Your skin will start to look much better if you wear foundation less.

Honestly, rarely. Bit of concealer if I have spots, but a full face of make up, once a month. I suspect I'm in the minority.

I have very dark eyelashes and eyebrows which makes a difference. I wear it mainly for a special occasion like a wedding or birthday.

Almost every day. Probably about 6 days a week but not much as I enjoy looking natural.

I just found that with mascara it would take days to fully come off and I'd keep getting black marks under my eyes.

Every day. Small amount of foundation, light blush or bronzer, mascara. I would wash my face at bedtime every day so makes no difference there, I do it religiously. As others, just to look healthy, not to look glam.

I wear lipstick without fail every day.

If we are going out in the evening I will wear eye makeup too, and maybe a bit of blusher plus some concealer and/or tinted moisturiser depending on what my skin looks like that day.

For a nice meal out or a holiday so pretty much never then. I have perfectly clear skin so can't see the point in plastering makeup on. Plus it irritates the crap out of me if and when I I do wear it. As soon as it's on I'm wanting to scrub it back off again

That's because you're using a bad makeup remover. That's worse for your skin than wearing makeup every day! Never go to sleep without taking it off (properly).

I don't get out of the house much but, when I do, I use brow pencil, eyeliner, a coat of mascara and maybe a little cream blusher. For a special occasion I'll use a lightweight foundation and concealer with the above.

Now I'm in my 50s I feel like my features are much less defined and I at least want my eyes to stand out more. As another MNer said on here, my face looks like a potato without the basics!

Though I've given my answer above, I feel like it can all be summed up by: the worse off my MH is, the more time I spend on makeup and the less I focus on skincare.

I wear it everyday, I'm too pale and less than perfect skin to go out without it.
Never wear too much but just so my skin looks even and my eyes are more defined.

Virtually never. Not even once a month.

I don’t think I have done a full face of makeup. I wouldn’t know where to start.
