How often do you wear make up?

I enjoy wearing make up - but I hate having to take it off at night. So I now rarely wear any. I WFH so it's not like I get dressed up to go to the office. But I feel so much more put together when I have make up on. It doesn't have to be a full face - but some BB cream, some blusher, mascara and lipstick. Am I lazy?

If you do enjoy wearing make up, how often do you wear it? And what products do you put on? I know some people never do, and that's fine (but different from what I'm asking here).

Sorry, but that's not right at all. You must be using a very harsh and/or waterproof mascara (which you should never wear), or a worthless make-up remover. My mascara comes completely off, every time.

I think I just didn't take it off properly, that's all.
What is wrong with waterproof mascara? Just curious, I've never used it but wondered if I should as when I wear mascara and blink I end up with black smudges under my eyes. Don't know if that's just me though

Every day I wear a full face but it's just a light layer. I just feel more awake with it on.

Usually a bit on a Saturday. I enjoy it now and then but day to day I love not wearing any. I wear a tinted Spf and lip balm every day. It has taken me a while to get used to my face "au natural" but I've never been happier with it.

Every day. I wear primer, concealer, foundation, bronzer then clear mascara as I get my lashes and brows tinted plus lip gloss.

Most days if I'm going out somewhere. Only tinted moisturiser and lippy if my lashes are tinted, mascara if not.

Only proper make up (foundation mascara lippy blushes eyeshadow) if it's a night out.

Day at home/nipping to the shop/garden centre/post office/etc probably nothing

Probably 6 days out of 7. I wear a full face when I go to the office (just powder and concealer on my skin as I don't wear foundation). If I WFH I just use a little concealer and powder. I'm pale and blonde but have my eyelashes tinted so can get away without mascara at home.

Every day. Blotchy face with broken veins, prefer them covered up. No eye make up though, I like my eyes as they are.

I wear a full face everytime I leave the house, unless I'm just walking the shop for milk etc I just slap on a tinted moisturiser and wear a big pair of sunglasses. I'm super pale without makeup as i constantly wear spf50 on my face, look like the living dead without it!!

Good skincare: every day and night without fail.
Lipstick and brow pencil: whenever I leave the house, eg groceries, work.
Eyeliner and blush: to feel a bit special, eg restaurant or day out.
Foundation/BB/CC: almost never.

I’m pretty minimalist. I enjoy makeup but don’t really have time to do more and I like my skin to breathe.

Same! Like wearing it, know I look better with it - but hate, hate, hate having to take it off at the end of the day, so only bother if I'm doing something that I need to look my best for.

Like a previous poster, I do always fill in my spindly little eyebrows, though, and wear SPF, but on an average day that's it. I do wear big, strong coloured glasses though, which I think helps.

As people notice them rather than the un-made-up face behind them.

Never. I look pretty good without it, so have never bothered going down that route.

Rarely, and never heavy make-up. I do prefer how I look with a little make-up on but I'd rather use the time it would take in the morning to sleep, to be honest, and like you - I hate taking it off at night!

I love wearing make up and agree with you OP, I feel much better when I do and I sell high end make up and skincare for my work so I really should be a regular wearer, but I'm not. I love applying it and love how it looks but generally CBA.

Only when on stage (I’m in the performing arts industry). I do BB cream, powder, lipstick. Sometimes a bit of blusher.

I HATE wearing make up. I only do it because most of the time we’re also appearing on camera and there are very bright lights, so a little is needed.

Most days. If I am WFH I am on screen (I’m a lecturer), and don’t want to scare the horses. I wouldn’t bother if it’s a weekend day and we are just knocking about at home in comfy clothes, or eg going for a run.

I tend to take off makeup/do skincare about 6pm. I always do this on work days because it feels like washing the day off. I might be a bit lazier about it if I waited until bedtime.

Only for events out of the house (I mostly wfh), so occasional work events, socialising - on ave about twice a week and then its just BB cream, bronzer, eyeliner, mascara, lip balm. Takes 5 mins.

Very rarely as I cannot wear makeup at work (due to legislation) and I don’t tend to go out to places where I care. The local pubs are not that sort iykwim

Only in the last year I’ve started wearing it daily and I feel so much nicer for it. I wear glossier primer, lrp spf, clarinet cc cream, maybelline concealer and an eyeshadow from an Aldi lacura palette. No mascara as I work in a shop and it would be halfway down my face in an hour and no lipgloss as I wear a mask!

Every week day.
Primer,foundation,powder,eyeshadow,eyeliner and mascara

Usually only for work. Because l'm customer facing and l have rosacea and feel better with it.
Rarely, otherwise. I actually enjoy taking it off more than l do putting it on.

Daily. I use concealer, foundation, eyebrow thing, a blusher which I also use on eyes and lips, mascara and bronzer.
I use Emma hardie moringa to remove my makeup, it’s easy to use and works well.

Oh and primer. Primer is smashbox, eyebrow thing is benefit and everything else is Charlotte Tilbury.
