They are a much copied shoe.

NiqueNique · 21/06/2022 17:10

Those are Manolo Blahniks Mary’s wearing so yes, it’s likely they’re the same model or very similar.

Serenster · 21/06/2022 17:33

I love the changes Mary has made to her dress there. initially it was floor-length and lined in nude fabric. Ballet length and black lining were great alterations.

(Yellow shoe fan here)

A few pictures that I saved last week and never got around to posting.

Diana’s nieces Ladies Amelia and Kitty Windsor in outfits I gotta say my aunties would wear. I wasn’t overly inspired here.

CPV wearing an interesting number here, according to the NMR round up it featured in a few events that day.

and one of Fred because he is a fine specimen of a future King 👑

I like the changes Mary made to that dress. Also the yellow shoes 💓!.

I prefer the revamped dress and I like the pop of yellow!

Eaumyword · 21/06/2022 19:50

I like CPM's dresses there and those sassy yellow shoes!
I think the Spencer sisters look ab fab. Stunningly beautiful and a high fashion look that I really like.
That's why I enjoy this thread so much - different opinions, all good!

MotherofPearl · 21/06/2022 20:26

Not a fan of that floral number CPV is wearing, especially that weird ruched bit.

I agree about Fred. I know HH is favoured by frugalkitty some on here, but for me it's a close-run thing between Fred and Felipe.

I like these contrasting red heels Leti is sporting today too, though as Maireas always says, how does she manage those heels on polished marble floors?!

Eaumyword · 21/06/2022 20:29

Ooh I do like Leti's dress and colour of shoes there.

Maireas · 21/06/2022 20:59

It's an enduring mystery, @MotherofPearl !
I like her dress and the fact that the shoes are red, though. I think they're her trusty Carolina Herrera slingbacks.

Mary demonstrating the weird territory between embrace and curtsey where you clutch the other person as you come up.

Maireas · 21/06/2022 22:33

That is definitely a weird look.

The birthday girl realised she’s not the only crowned head of state in the room.

I like Mary's dress.

susiebluebell · 22/06/2022 08:40

I've said it before, but it's amazing to me that the current fashion is for high-necked, long-sleeved midi/maxi dresses and skirts, especially in those very feminine prints. Don't get me wrong, I think they're generally really flattering (though for me too the Windsor sisters are the wrong side of auntie @CliffsofMohair ) but it would have been unthinkable back when I was looking into modest fashion in Jewish/Islamic/Christian circles. The style nerd in me would love to do an armchair analysis of why that's come about (post pandemic, we want party frocks, but aren't ready to bare all after getting used to generous lockdown clothing??). And I'm really interested to see where the fashions go in the next year or two.

Onto my second coffee...

Serenster · 22/06/2022 09:00

@susiebluebell there is the saying that tough times call for short skirts, so who knows what we’ll be seeing in the next year or so!

gluenotsoup · 22/06/2022 09:58

I like both black dresses, and much prefer Mary’s revamped version to the original, and I love the yellow shoes with it! A bit more fun than plain black, I like Leti’s red shoes too with her dress, nice contrast.

dolphinsarentcommon · 22/06/2022 11:39

I'm not keen on the D of C white trouser suit today. Different shaped trousers maybe.

Reminds me of the Bee Gees.

Serenster · 22/06/2022 12:09

I think it’s the same tailored white jacket she wore on their Caribbean trip, but teamed with different trousers (wide legged rather than tapered and cropped).

I like the look. I’d never wear a white suit myself (don’t have the lifestyle for head to toe whites!) but it turns out I like it on other people.

Eaumyword · 22/06/2022 13:20

I like it! I see less Bee Gees, more Bianca Jagger c. Studio 54!

MotherofPearl · 22/06/2022 13:58

I'm not a white suit fan and am very saddened to see that the white stilettos have been allowed out. Nice earrings at least.

LadyEloise1 · 22/06/2022 14:24

Kate looks great.
I'm not a fan of white stilettos.
Has she bern away recently- she has a lovely tan. Her hair has got very long. I wish mine would grow faster. Smile

KillingMeDeftly · 22/06/2022 15:38

Kate's been out and about a lot since the jubilee so I'm not sure she's had a chance to go away anywhere exotic. Maybe it's just from sunning herself in the gardens at KP or Anmer!

AmberLynn1536 · 22/06/2022 17:57

Loving Kate’s look today, especially the hair and earrings she really seems to have upped her game recently and is looking more contemporary and fashion forward, we just need to prise her out of her predictable pointy courts which she has in every colour known to man, she needs to take inspiration from Bea and Meghan who wear some wonderful shoes.
