I have them too, i would love a slingback version.

Maireas · 07/07/2022 20:46

Me too, @SenecaFallsRedux - I've been looking on Vestiaire, sadly still too pricey.
How many of us have got those M&S shoes?!

OP posts:
LadyEloise1 · 07/07/2022 20:51

I just googled @Maireas - Yes they are sling backs with a block heel.
As I said the nude colour is a little off - too pink rather than beige.

Maireas · 07/07/2022 20:53

Thanks, @LadyEloise1 - I'm going to look now. They had a nice dupe for the Chloe scalloped flats, but only in black.

Sling back heeled shoes never worked for me either too loose slipping down or too tight rubbing my heels until they were sore. I can wear flat sandals

MotherofPearl · 08/07/2022 18:24

I sincerely hope none of you lovely ladies were involved in this:

Maireas · 08/07/2022 18:37

They were all wearing green coats and M&S Chanel dupe shoes.
You'll agree that those pseudonyms are improbable.....

Not guilty, but it's not far away from me! T'was a lovely tiara-I imagine it was broken down and parts sold on swiftly ☹

Gooseysgirl · 08/07/2022 22:54

Bea and Edo totally nailing it at Wimbledon today 🥰

She really is wedded to that Vampire's Wife dress style, isn't she? Who's the guy at the bottom of the photo? He looks v familiar but I can't place him.

I saw that she and Edo were at the Rolling Stones gig last weekend, along with a whole bunch of celebs. Alas my tickets were for the weekend before!

RomainingCalm · 08/07/2022 23:24

Bea really seems to have found her own style recently and looks so happy and confident.

Would love to know what she has in her little picnic hamper handbag. Cherry bakewells, a couple of scotch eggs, can of Pimms...

Maireas · 09/07/2022 05:29

I'm going to have to dissent on Beatrice's dress. I think the proportions aren't right and the ruffle on the bottom isn't it good addition. Nor the mini hamper ☹️. Edo looks sharp, as ever.
At the front of the picture are Alexander and Julia Ogilvy, I believe. Daughter in law and grandson of Princess Alexandra (correct me if I'm wrong!).

A rather nice piece here - Richard and Birgitte are married 50 years! It's a lovely picture and I think she looks lovely in the yellow dress.

Brigitte is very stylish in her own way. She often favours shirt dresses with full skirts and they really suit her.

I think you're right re the other people in the photo @Maireas and is that Jay from Modern Family behind Beado??🤣

Eaumyword · 09/07/2022 08:36

Bea looks great there.

mathanxiety · 09/07/2022 08:40

I think Brigitte is one of my favourites, along with Sarah Chatto.

Beatrice has undergone a really noticeable change in appearance since her wedding. She's much leaner, and her face has changed (no suggestion at all of 'work' - maybe she's wearing different makeup, or less makeup). She's starting to look a little like Princess Anne, imo.

LadyEloise1 · 09/07/2022 08:48

I don't like Bea's dress.
She has definitely upped her game though fashion wise since getting married. I don't like Edo.

Spanish Royals looking very stylish indeed.

Maireas · 09/07/2022 08:55

The Spanish royals looking effortlessly stylish again! They really seem to be appropriately dressed, yet not too fussy or dowdy. Leonor and Sofia have a nice formal look that's not too ageing.
I wonder how Leonor is finding Wales?

susiebluebell · 09/07/2022 09:45

Probably loving the weather 😛

I really like what I've seen of the young Spanish princesses' style. I wonder if they know Lady Louise and if they'd give her some tips? She's absolutely gorgeous, but to me often looks like she and Sophie have gone through Sophie's wardrobe and found something that vaguely fits the occasion. I think it's probably hard to find things that look appropriate when you are 18 at these weird formal functions, but clearly it can be done 😊

Maireas · 09/07/2022 09:47

Maybe that's the way Louise is, she may not be interested in clothes?
Maybe she's happy in jeans etc then her mum's wardrobe for formal wear!

OP posts:
RomainingCalm · 09/07/2022 10:13

Love that Boüret dress on Leti.

And yes, the young Spanish royals rarely get it wrong imo.

I don't think he'll be losing any sleep over that 🙄

RomainingCalm · 09/07/2022 10:24

For some of the 'middle Royals' (don't know if that's a proper thing but people like Sophie, Lady Louise, Bea, Eugenie etc) it must be quite frustrating.

You're royal enough to have your outfits critiqued by the press and find yourself in the limelight at events but not royal enough to have access to the budget, army of stylists and hair/beauty people to ensure that you're perfectly groomed at all times.

The back-to-back Caribbean tours of William and Kate followed by Edward and Sophie highlighted that difference for me.

You could argue that even with all that help the more senior Royals still get it wrong sometimes but it's probably less often.

MrsOwainGlyndŵr · 09/07/2022 10:46

Now that Beatrice married to Edo she will have a lot more £££ to spend on clothes and advice about clothes, personal trainers etc, plus you use up a lot of energy looking alter a small baby.
Plus Edo looks like the type to expect a high standard in the looks and figure department from any partner.
