That shirt makes me want to add back in blue to my wardrobe @Sooverthemill I've been trying to stick with pinks, reds and whites/ neutrals in seperates to build a very big but versatile non capsule wardrobe for spring/summer.

Really interesting @toucaninjapan especially that everyone is almost made to conform by cultural pressure, your dress the other day looked modest to me. I'm not sure I'd be able to survive Japanese culture unless if grown up in it I'm just to awkward.

I saw another thread about choosing a yellow evening dress today, and oh my God, I wish I didn't check the links, because on one of the websites I saw a bag I'm now desperately longing for. I've already spoiled myself rotten this summer sale season and I really need to stop. I wish I saw this bag before my Sezane splurge as I might have skipped buying one or two items in favor of this bag!

We are having a typhoon-turned-extratropical-cyclone today here, so I'm WFH and not wearing anything worth showing today, but yesterday I had to go out after lunch to attend some meeting, so here's my boring work outfit.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, you really are a lovely lot! Username was of course inspired by the infamous "dated" thread, which made a somewhat depressing read. Appreciate that style is often subjective and people will of course have their own opinions, but some of it was so mean spirited eg the poster who said that most people don't know how to dress and it was laughable. Are there really people who think like that?!

Trying a new denim midi skirt today. I bought it in a physical shop ( joules, shock) when I went to osteopath on Monday. I think it’s last year as it was cheap! Being a seaside town we have joules, fat face and white stuff.

man’s how I tried it when I got it home. Also joules have brilliant plain beats, absolutely fab shape covering bra and very chic imo. I got a navy and am looking for other colours online £12

today I'm in the navy version of my Me & Em utility trousers. I still haven't worn them in wide leg mode because I like this profile so much.
