@interferringma great outfit and  at sneaking shoes into the house. I used to do that with horse stuff. Bonus was that DP could not tell one bit of tack from another. Thankfully.

I'm in my yellowish Trevas today because I'm old and comfort counts.

Ohhhh @Sooverthemill your hair looks fabulous curly - and definitely not colour - your natural colour is stunning.

I do daily yoga but keep flirting with the idea of Pilates. I'm allergic to exercise that feels too effortful (we'll gloss over the horse as she doesn't count in my head).

Anyone got any online Pilates they recommend? I'll never stop with Adrienne but I could be tempted to mix it up a bit.

I love Adrienne, @Shannith. She's one of my fantasy dinner party guests (along with David Attenborough of course). I think she'd be tremendous fun as well as being a great yogi.

@Shannith at the start of lockdown I did a few girl with a Pilates mat sessions. She seems good. You have to be careful as Pilates is tiny movements and it's harder to get wrong than yoga ( imo) so listen/watch very carefully. But as with yoga there are many people

we went out last night which was lovely with DS and his GF but had too much to eat and drink. It was remarkable because we sat out in the restaurant garden with our coffees. So nice

Are they COMFY @EllaPaella ? You are younger than me (by quite a margin I'd say!) and comfort is key for me! They do look fabulous tho!

I'm 43 @intwrferingma, yes they feel comfy. I wouldn't keep if they didn't feel right- I definitely won't suffer in the name of fashion when it comes to my feet 🦶

shoes are amazing @EllaPaella I’m sure you’ll get lots of wear. I’m still swimming- no wetsuit needed now! My MRI was for endo. I’m having a full hysterectomy.

so many lovely outfits. Going to press post before it chucks me out again!

@Sooverthemill that sounds like a perfect evening sitting outside with coffees. I would love some white shorts or jeans.

I need to get back in to doing yoga. I do believe it helps my pain. My motivation has been so poor lately as I’ve just felt exhausted.

I took DC shopping yesterday and bought two lovely summer tops (if summer properly arrives). I also ordered some shoes from marks and Spencer’s when I got home. Will post pictures when I get round to it.

@Softpebbles the problem is (certainly I find) that when I am at my most stressed I stop doing all the things that would actually help. I tend to stop exercising, I comfort eat and forget how to unwind and relax. So it's a vicious cycle. I hope you are ok. That sounds like a pretty big deal to have to have a full hysterectomy

Cold water swimming definitely helps though. I've never found anything I love as much.

This is what I was wearing until I managed to spill coffee down my jeans. I’ve got a different pair on now (which are arguably more stylish as they’re not skinny jeans, but are somehow not quite as comfortable)!

Thanks so much for the dress comments - the Reformation one arrives on Monday or Tuesday, I think, so I will no doubt be asking for opinions on here! 😊 Glad you don't think it's too bridal, though! To answer your question @EllaPaella - I hadn't got as far as shoes! I ADORE your new sandals, though, they're amazing! I love Esska and love the outfit you've styled them with. I think I'd probably go for something fairly colourful and block heeled to offset the dress being quite so white.

@toucaninjapan sadly we are not so refined as to be waltzing, although I've always loved the idea of being good at dancing. DH and I tried to learn for our first dance when we got married, but it was disastrous because he has no rhythm and I have no patience! 🤣 the dancing will very much be standard birthday/wedding dj type of stuff, though, and I'm a bit worried the dress is slightly impractical for that!

I've been away with work the latter part of this week. I work with one of my best friends, which is so lovely, so DH and DS came up to join us and we all stayed with them for the weekend and we've had a great time.

Ooh, we did also go to a formal dinner night on Saturday. Really fun to get dressed up again as haven't been to one in ages because of Covid and DH's postings etc. I don't have the stamina I used to, though, one 2am bedtime and I've been baggage all day today, it's not nearly so easy when you know a toddler is going to be waking you at 6.30am the next day!

Dress - Matthew Williamson (my bargain of a lifetime, I bought it at Bicester reduced from £1800 to £180). I just love the back, although people (mainly DH) did keep treading on the cape all night... 😂

I'm back 👋 we had a trade conference this week and weekend so I've been flat out, since Tuesday I've been on my feet so much I can barely walk! But it was successful 😃

I get you about waltz, DH and I have also taken some lessons together back in the day. I really hoped he’d enjoy it and want to continue, but nope.

Saturday - pistachio trousers (Dreskip) and t-shirt (Its’demo) for my dance class. Posing awkwardly as I’m trying to show details on the sleeves.

Sunday - made an effort and wore a dress for going out with DH and DD. I’ve recently bought a new necklace and this is my first time wearing it.

Today DH and I took a day off, we are heading to do final check of the house we will be soon moving in. Building process was just starting when we made our mind on it, so I’m a bit nervous to see it in reality and not on paper, but hopefully everything looks nice and we will love it! It's really small for a house, but still bigger than the apartment we are currently living in and we love the area.
I'm wearing red because last week was quite stressful and I need a little bit of a mood boost. I find right clothes can put me in the right state of mind.
