We were saying we wanted her to be more adventurous - I’m not sure 80s Redux was really what I had in mind, but that fashion is obviously out there to be bought right now!

(I do wonder whether she is tapping into childhood memories of seeing Carole dressed up in the 80s and thinking how glamourous her Mum looked, and that is now hardwired into her mind? She is too young to have worn this kind of thing first time around, so I can see it would seem like a fresh look for her).

I grew up in the 80s, and that's what it reminds me of - someone's mum on their Communion day - definitely don't see it as fresh!
Pros: yellow definitely suits her and she has a gorgeous tan.

I would say that fashion-wise the tour has been a success for the most part. Some beautiful gowns and jewels for us to admire and she mixed it up for daywear too.

We'll see Kate again on Tuesday for the DoE memorial service and then I suspect she'll be in deepest Norfolk until after the Easter holidays.

It's almost a parody - what else can we add? A bow and the cheapest looking buckle we can find.

I too didn't know what mescaline was until @frugalkitty's recent autocorrect mishap, but it would certainly help explain the yellow dress horror!

It looks a bit less terrible in other photos, but it looks like my 5-year-old had a hand in designing it. She likes all the frills and furbelows.
