Wills looks ok, I think the photos are probably making the shirt look more formal than it really is if it’s linen.
Kate - well she even looks fab with wet, straggly hair. 😂. And obviously back in her comfort zone.

My first pair of grown up shoes were white stilettos, bought when I was a bridesmaid for my brother. Work with a peach dress with a sweetheart mescaline and good old 80s perm.

I could have written that! Same frock and rather dodgy hair but was for my cousin in 1987.

That’s beautiful. Very elegant, and I like that it’s a little looser than some, it drapes well. I love the jewellery too, Van Cleef and Arpels apparently, it’s mother of pearl and looks just right for the dress. Full on bling would have been too much. A little glimpse of a shoe, sparkly not white.😊

Lovely dress, and the jewellery is right!! I hated it last time she wore it - didn’t go with the dress at all and looked really awful. But this time it’s s perfect match.

I think KM could look good in a dustbin bag as she is so tall, trim and toned, well groomed with beautiful features and lovely hair, but I don't personally think that latest dress has the right neckline for her. And the crossover style is more suitable on someone with a fuller figure imho. It's fine in that she can wear anything but I don't think it enhances her figure particularly well as the bodice looks a bit "baggy" on top.

Apparently the dress is actually a very delicate turquoise.

Ah, now I think it’s a nice change from the very straight look the coat dresses can give, and balances her height and shape well. That’s why I like this thread, we all see something slightly differently.😊

Oh I think that gown is gorgeous and it fits beautifully. And the jewellery goes very well.

Apparently the jewellery costs £13,000 - have to say it doesn't look that price...

I like the dress but think both the neckline and waistline sit a bit too low on Kate - to my eye they both need to go up a cm or two. I also think the dress would benefit from a tiny sparkly belt to cover the join between bodice and skirt, which I find quite ugly.

Not keen on the dress. It swamps her.

And not keen on the line of the necklace.

Here's a screenshot from one of the Royal reporters on Instagram. It looks better here I think - the fit looks perfect. I like it, not her perfect color but it was probably chosen to echo the host country

The shoes are fab, love them. And yes- a narrow, sparkly belt would have looked good. Maybe next time.

Oh yes it does look better in the photo posted by N0tfinished where you can see the waist properly.

I think the waistline there is actually on her waist, sometimes it looks too high up her rib cage, probably because of her height.

I'm actually quite shocked at the amount of new stuff on display on this tour. Would have expected more re-wears in the current economic climate.

I think it’s perfect as is. No need for embellishments imo (I would have been whingeing had she worn a belt with it tbh. Especially a sparkly one) and the waistline is perfect. I think it’d look odd if it was higher as it’s sitting where it’s supposed to - she’s just got a very long torso.

She can't win on this score, so I think she's walked the line very well.

Not enough rewears = she's wasteful.

Not enough new clothing = the countries they're visiting aren't worth the effort/expense.

I really like the dress, she does have a long torso like me which means it's hard to get anything with the waist sitting in the right place.....oh wait, that's just me because I don't have clothes made for me. Anyway, it's a hit although I do agree something round the waist might have been better.
