However, Wills throwing his toys out of the pram could backfire when it comes to the RBL Festival of Remembrance, usually shown on BBC.
That's a major event for the House of Windsor, with all hands summoned on deck for the photo call.

It will be interesting to see what Wills does then.

It's a shame that they're not going, we really need some glamour....

She's really starting to feel her age

No! She loves the Commonwealth Service. It's very important to her, so that's a real shame.

The Cambridge Caribbean tour kicks off a week from Saturday so I'd assume that if it was cancelled we'd hear pretty soon. I don't think the children are going with them but tbh a week in the Caribbean without the kids sounds rather nice!

Leti's also attended a fashion event in this white dress. I like the brown accessories but the top of the dress is a bit too Dynasty for me.

I think that there is a great deal of political manoeuvring behind Her Maj’s decision not to attend the Commonwealth Service.

In 2018, she put a huge amount of emotional pressure on the member states to confirm Charlie in the role of next Head of the Commonwealth, and he was duly named as her successor.

There isn’t a vote or election, it’s more a consensus of opinion, and there is nothing to say that it should always be the British sovereign, though since it’s inception it has been.

My guess is that Her Maj has deliberately stepped back, to allow Charlie to take centre stage as HoC and thus confirm him in the role she so clearly wants for him. I wonder what she will say in her broadcast to the Commonwealth?

I don't know why, but stiletto heels with maxi skirts just look a bit wrong to me.

In my NMR round up we have Leti at a memorial event. Not keen on those shiny black heels at all. Sophie has been at various events in Liverpool. I don't think the jacket matches her dress. But she's so warm and engaged. From the photo it looks like one woman she spoke to had her in tears.

Love Sophie. The skirt not so much. Leti looks sparkly.

I love Leti's skirt but not the rest of it.

I read that the lady with Sophie in the third photo is a woman she's been speaking with on the phone over the course of the pandemic and they finally got to meet in person, which is lovely.

I have a skirt very like Sophie's. And can never work out what to wear it with.

Sophie's having some wardrobe misses lately. On paper, they should work, but something is off in reality.
Interesting because I too am finding my go to styles feel a bit 'off' too at the moment. I do think at menopause/post menopause, body shape shifts slightly and I want to avoid looking frumpy.

I agree, @Eaumyword. Sophie's style is a bit off, and I think it's shape/structure and silhouette. It does get more tricky as you get older.
She's got a lovely manner, though.

I think with Sophie is it’s that the fabrics and cuts are causing a rigid or bulky looking sillouhette. I think- like me she suits something a bit softer and more fluid. She has a lovely shaped figure, but needs to be careful on this or can look a bit matronly. Like so many of us 😂
