Is this too ‘look at me’ for a wedding?

Apart from the evening style, which I can overlook, is the gold too dressy for a small town afternoon wedding?

The picture is rubbish so it's hard to tell. Looks lovely, but I can hardly see any gold. Have you got a link?

You’re right, and with the gold in it it can’t be easily worn at a variety of places.

I am stunned by the price though. More than both of my wedding outfits combined. I think I'd be tempted if I was better off though because it's so beautiful. I'd have to master the swishing thing to show it off properly

I would avoid it for a wedding because it's black, but it's a lovely dress.
