Sarah Chapman Skinesis ultimate cleanse. Had a weird smell and wasn't that effective.

neom wonder balm. Didn't do much. not a rp for me.

Espa refining skin polish. Not as good as Demalogica.

My empties:

77) Dr Russo single application all day SPF 30 moisturiser: while I like the idea of an spf that you only have to apply once a day, I really didn't like this product at all. It was very thick, sticky and greasy, and the brush applicator felt really unhygienic. Yuk! Used it up on my arms.

78) Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater hand cream: lovely scent, really smelt like fresh roses rather than the artificial rose scent that you usually get. Not the most moisturising hand cream that I've tried though.

79) Frezyderm sun screen: I really liked this. It's like a very silky serum and doesn't clog the skin

80) Medik8 Hydr8 B5: nice hyaluronic acid. Much preferred to the horrid sticky dr sebagh one that I was using before.

@PomRuns i loved that WWlab cream, it was gorgeous. Sadly not in this years F&M or I might be tempted.

I am being ruthless at the moment.
Today I decluttered the Tart Tartelette palette. I have had it for years and despite it being 100% neutral, useful-coloured mattes, I rarely used it because it was patchy, blended abysmally and didn’t play nicely with other palettes. I never liked the scent either. Absolutely unnecessary.
Decluttered four Colourpop lip pencils. They were great, cool-toned shades, but they simply dry out quickly - to the point where you pull the lid off and the entire coloured part (the lead?) falls through the plastic outer bit. Disappointed because cool-toned neutrals that don’t pull grey or purple are hard to find!
Also decluttered a heap of Colourshock Eyeshadows from Colourpop. Can’t fault them, but they were ancient. Also bulky. I have kept three, but I am not promising that they will last long either. If I don’t reach for them by the end of August, they’re going bye-bye.

Uuuuuummmm. Is this for people who have too much beauty stuff and yet still continue to buy more? Oh and do your dh’s not know about it and are continually perplexed that you always seem to have a different perfume on every day of the year? If so I think this is the thread for me.
whatthefuckinghell MUST be STRONG and resist the feelunique GWP….. although I COULD spend the £135 on some new skincare for dd, 11 (if you know any great brands that would be super helpful), some shower gel for dh and I’ve run out yeh right of my loccitane bath oil…..<wanders of thinking of ways to justify it>

1. tbs kindness and pears shower gel, liked this nice consistency and great smell, but won’t be buying any more from them as their a mlm


2. tbs mango hand gel. This is amazing love the smell but again, won’t be rp as mlm

So a few empties from me:

• Superdrug Me+ tranexamic booster: I actually bought a new one of these without checking my stash and seeing I already had one on the go 🙈 anyhoo have been using on my decolletage as is supposed to help reduce redness... have not seen any change. Any recommendations in this regard? Maybe I need a stronger one - this one is 2.5%


• REN ready stead glow daily aha tonic: am really not a fan... not keen on the smell and sometimes it sort of foamed on my skin... there are loads of other aha/bha tonics that I prefer out there


• Phyto Panama balancing treatment shampoo: saw this on offer on line and decided to try out... many yonks ago I used one the creams... think it is Number 7 - after Lisa Eldridge recommended. This shampoo was ok with my oily roots but not the best I have used of late.


• Dr Paw Paw scrub and nourish: one part of this tub is a lovely lip balm the other is a lip scrub which basically dried out and hurt my lips. I used the scrub up on my legs
