Molke bras - what a revelation

I had a recent thread on here for comfy supportive bras for big boobs and was recommended Molke. I’ve resisted for a long time as I think they look a bit frumpy / shapeless and not a huge fan of the wacky prints, but finally tried one on the recommendations here.

Fuck me it’s amazing. I hadn’t realised how much my boobs move in bras before (I’ve been properly measured and have a million bras) but this is so soft and supportive, I can’t tell I am wearing a bra or even feel that I have boobs if that makes sense. They’re not sexy or give an amazing shape but brill for general wear around the house / dog walks etc.

Would really recommend to try them if you’ve been put off before!

I love molkes! Don't wear anything else.

RuthTopp · 27/01/2022 20:33

I've heard they are very hard to get off ?

myyellowcar · 27/01/2022 20:36

They are good aren’t they, I was a bit put off too and the prints aren’t for me but I sleep in them and they are amazing.

Not for me!

Does anyone have a discount code? Or are they easy to return if needed? I’d like to try for my DD

MajesticElephant · 27/01/2022 21:04

I hate mine - it separates my breasts and sits under my left tit in a really uncomfortable way. Plus as per PP it’s impossible to get off.

They rarely do discounts as they are a small business so don't have huge profit margins to be able to discount. Their customer service is amazing though and they accept returns.
ExtremelyDetermined · 27/01/2022 22:01

I hate mine too, it makes me feel all lopsided and it's very hard to get off.

RelentlessForwardProgress · 27/01/2022 22:09

Good Lord! Why do they look like that? I've got high impact sports bras I use to run in that look more attractive than that. Just why?

Snoozeee · 27/01/2022 22:11

Are they padded?

SharksAlive · 27/01/2022 22:13

You have to pull them down not up to get them off! Then it's ok. I really like mine. Not a thing of beauty but a welcome relief from the tyranny of underwired bras. I don't wear it for work as I don't think the shape they give is that good and I want to look/feel a bit smarter but for everything else it's great.

JessicaJacket · 27/01/2022 22:15

I love them too!

Not difficult to take off at all. Are people who have that problem maybe wearing too small a back size?

They're the only bras I can wear with right tshirts, as boobs look nice and also don't get back fat or bra strap digging in at the back.

They don't look amazing but they also don't look terrible on me.

Crispynoodle · 27/01/2022 22:17

I am such a sheep! Read the OP went straight to the website and shared with my adult daughter! Grin

And why do they have names instead of sizes? And wow, pricey.

Do you have a large chest?

They are pricey tbf, but I don't mind paying a bit more for British made, ethical, yada yada

Craftycorvid · 27/01/2022 22:22

I don’t wear anything else now. They’re great for running in as well - nowt budges! I used to get bra strap slide as I have sloping shoulders, and underwiring was getting more and more uncomfortable. I quite like the shape I get with Molke as it minimises my boobs to some extent.

sofiathe2nd · 27/01/2022 22:25

I tried one whilst bf my baby, literally could not get the thing off myself. It went on fine. My husband was away for work and I had to text my neighbour to come and help me escape: I was a milky, hormonal, hysterical mess by the end of it Blush Grin

On the plus side, they resell for almost their full value...

DieDeutschLehrerin · 27/01/2022 22:26

I had never heard of these.
They look great. After 5 years of being demoralised and impoverished by the makers of post surgery bras I would happily pay up for these.
Amoena and co could learn a lot.

Classica · 27/01/2022 22:30

Oh good Lord, I've just looked them up on google images. Those are some ugly bras.

So why are they hard to get out of?
ExtremelyDetermined · 27/01/2022 22:37

There's just not enough stretch in the band for getting them off. I have some stretchy but firm crop tops from a supermarket that give easily as good hold and support (F cup) but stretch far better and are so easy to get on and off, comfier too.

ilovecherries · 27/01/2022 22:38

I just don’t get them, I’m afraid. Wanted to love them, but they were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever subjected my poor boobs to in my efforts to restrain them - and yes, I was wearing the right size. Horrendous to get off as well. But loads of people do love them.

sofiathe2nd · 27/01/2022 22:39

They don't have any fastenings but to provide enough support they're not hugely stretchy and fit snugly. If, like me, you aren't very flexible but are big boobed, and sadly barrel shaped it's really hard to pull them off either upwards (boobs and back in way) or down (hips and shoulders)

BurntToastAgain · 27/01/2022 22:39

The size guide is shit. I bought the size it said based on my bra size. But my boobs would need to be sitting on my collarbones for them to fit.
