General “Waifs and Strays” Beauty Advent Calendar opening thread

As last year, I suggest we use this as a general beauty advent calendar thread for everyone with beauty calendars that may not be covered by other threads or who prefers a general thread. I’m opening FM, Harrods and M&S this year, and will aim to post on both this and the M&S threads.

Please can no-one post any spoilers before 7am on the relevant day.

Just over a week to go. I’m really looking forward to it!

I'm really looking forward to getting started. I'm opening M&S and a homemade one using the CB beauty edits.

As last year, it would be great if people posted photos of their items as it's great to see them as well as reading about them.

Joining up - I've a diy one from GWP etc but looking forward to trying some things out & looking forward to seeing everyone's bits, (oo err missus!) 😁

I have the Rituals one (the house) this year. It's my first time getting this as I normally buy H&B. Excited for next week

You do realise we will be expecting to see a nail painted each day? If you do toes too you'll only have to start again on 21st December.

I’ll be around this thread. I’ve got ASOS, Paul & Joe and Lumene. I also used accumulated Boots advantage points to buy the Soap & Glory calendar yesterday as it’s only £31 which makes it great value and I do love the products.

@OchonAgusOchonOh - he is lucky! Even more as I don’t like whiskey so it will be all for him. He’s also got some tasting sets for Xmas.

Wow @Peridot1 Japanese whiskey does sound interesting. I bought my husband a cider calendar. There’s not many about, but he prefers to drink cider. He won’t be sharing with me as I’m teetotal!

It was a recommendation on a thread on here a while ago where someone was looking for recommendations for good whiskey for her DH.

I’m in - have H&B, M&S and Glossybox (plus Degustabox for the whole household to share, and Rituals for DD).

Which whiskey advent did you go for @Peridot1 ?

I am also intrigued by whisky advent but whisky every night of the week puts me off!
