I like it but I'm going against the grain and enjoy any excuse to wear a fascinator! They are very much still a thing at any wedding I've been to.

Apart from the fact that it doesn't suit the dress at all, people already knew it was wrong to use feathers to decorate hats 100 years ago.

Love the dress. Was surprised when I saw it after the fascinator as I was imagining the op to be more hyacinth bouquet

I clicked on this just to find out what a "fascinator" is, so my advice is probably terrible.

That said, it's a bit Beatrice-and-Eugenie for my tastes but I can see it working well for someone else's style, nothing wrong with it.

It's a kind of not-quite-hat which its wearer apparently believes will fascinate all who see it.

I don't, and wouldn't wear it (or any fascinator) but actually think it looks pretty and will go nicely with the dress chosen.

The dress is absolutely stunning. I'd be more inclined to wear something like this with it (not this, but something like this). The grouse hat thing looks more suited to wearing with a coat.
