Beauty Advent Calendars 2021 Thread 3 - Decisions Decisions! (Spoilers included)

Hope it’s ok to have started the thread as we seemed to run out of the last one a bit quickly! And I was really enjoying the thread and reading everyone’s thoughts.

I started reading the first one determined not to buy one this year.

Currently I have the Rituals one and have just ordered the Origins 12 Day one for the 12 days of Christmas!

Let the chat and decisions continue!

Regarding sorting and sorting like others I have my stash sorted into bags of cleansers, toners etc. Now that travel is back on the cards I will use them up that way.

Lots of temptation about but I’m sitting on my hands now, waiting to see what the Liberty Beauty Drop exclusive kit is going to contain. Have decided that I really don’t want/need Harrods calendar after all, so hoping that my Fortnums one will eventually turn up - seems an age ago that I ordered it and there have been no updates. Would have been tempted by the Cult gift but I purchased the Christmas boxes I wanted as soon as they were released, so no further spend there. Feeling very virtuous this afternoon 😊

Thanks so much for posting the link. Think I’m like cuppatea - I’m keen to see what the Liberty exclusive kit looks like and I’ve purchased the CB Christmas edits too and got the goody bag from last week. Plus I’m waiting for my fortnums too. I’ve spent far too much on beauty recently and feel a bit queasy at spending anymore! Plus I’m telling myself the goody bag has yet another black eyeliner in it that I don’t need . But it’s tempting though! I’m sure there will be more offers around Black Friday. If I’m honest I’ve got heaps of beauty stuff to get through and I need to get a grip!

I had no idea that the minimum spend required would be so high. I’ll pass!
But it would be great if you were doing a lot of Christmas shopping

There are a couple of Christmas bits that I want from cult beauty, but not £185 worth! The spend on these GWPs always seems so ludicrously high. Think I'm probably better of waiting for a decent discount code.

I think the are only worth it if you are going to get the products anyway, and you can't get them any cheaper during discounts. Like I am getting the products I want, the gwp is just extra. I could get the eye shadow 20% less during discounts but it's LE and could be out of stock and teh rest of the products are never included in discounts.

@MidnightMeltdown Harrods box with NAP contents would be my ideal calendar too!

I flippin well spent over £100 with CB just over two weeks ago! Not that I need the goodie bag but it’s the principle!

Ffs I've been waiting and waiting on Harris's and naturally the day I work from the office is the day it's back in stock. Just home from work and it's 'Coming Soon' again. The gods are conspiring against me.😭😭

I’ve finally decided & ordered Harrods. I love the box & the little bags & there is loads I’ll use & other things I want to try. I did want a candle but gave treated myself to the small diptyque festive sapin candle.

I've just checked the M and S website and it's still saying "coming soon". I'm away at my caravan so I've left money with my son to go and get me one as I had tomorrow in my head as the release date.
I've obviously made it clear how important it is to me because he's just whatsapped me to check the date again. 😄

Just back from M&S .. the staff were speaking to customers in the store to let them know about the calendar launching tomorrow. They seemed genuinely excited about it, nice to see!
