Beauty Advent Calendars 2021 Thread 3 - Decisions Decisions! (Spoilers included)

Hope it’s ok to have started the thread as we seemed to run out of the last one a bit quickly! And I was really enjoying the thread and reading everyone’s thoughts.

I started reading the first one determined not to buy one this year.

Currently I have the Rituals one and have just ordered the Origins 12 Day one for the 12 days of Christmas!

Let the chat and decisions continue!

Regarding sorting and sorting like others I have my stash sorted into bags of cleansers, toners etc. Now that travel is back on the cards I will use them up that way.

I didn’t get the Boots email either. Wasn’t going to get it but that not the point. I feel horribly cheated

I have the exclusive body shop advent calendar the glossybox advent calendar and the Charlotte tilbury beauty calendar plan on getting the soap and glory advent calendar the tatti lashes one and maybe the mac…..yes I’m an advent addict😆🙈

I've just found my email from Boots - can I possibly get a third calendar? ( already got Space NK and John Lewis).

My Harrods AC arrived today.
I absolutely love the packaging, the design is exquisite.
It looks beautiful stood up open and will be part of our Xmas deco!

The Harrods box is beautiful. Very envious.

Does lookfantastic ever reduce their calendars or do their codes ever work on them? I am thinking of getting one but only if I can get it cheaper.

@AprilLady Yes I saw that. There's also a video on YouTube showing each item which was a bit more helpful for me.

I don't think I will buy it either but I do like the boxes generally.

My Net-A-Porter has arrived, it’s huge and heavy!

Had an email to say my CB is coming tomorrow or Monday, I'm too impatient I want it now!

Neither my Net a Porter or Cult Beauty have even been dispatched yet .

My CB arrived last night. It's very heavy. I'm going to stash it under my bed now and try and forget about it for the next 6 weeks! Now just need to figure out what to get the tweens (10 & 12 and DH).

Ooh! Another Paul & Joe fan! I’m counting down the days until 1 November when I can order it!

@BunnytheFriendlyDragon, yes, I got pulled in by one of their offers for an annual subscription at the start of the year. I’ve found it quite fun; I like that it is lifestyle and homewares as well as beauty and that the boxes are now fully customisable. But the best bit has turned out to be the edit sales; they’re a bit like having access to a US TKMaxx. In particular, my HG Vit C serum costs c£20 in their sales versus c£80 if I bought it anywhere else.

The winter box is my last one; I haven’t decided yet whether to renew or cancel.

Is Paul and Joe the cats one? Is their stuff good then? I always thought it looked so cute and pretty but wasn't sure if the quality matched up. Maybe I will get it too.🤔

I ordered the SpaceNK one early as it is always good and my husband looked at me as if I was crazy as it was only September and he was going to buy me one. Last year he got Espa which was nice, but Every day it was Espa products 😆

Degustabox will arrive in November, after that I’m done. I’ve ordered L’Occitane for my god-daughter and the Glossybox one for me will apparently arrive today. Rituals and H&B already here and stashed under my bed.

Reading that back I may have gone over the top this year...

I finally decided to order Fortnum’s this morning and it’s out of stock. I’ve emailed to see if they’re getting anymore & I am signed up for Harrod’s. I know I don’t want CB or Space NK & am not keen on the Liberty contents. But I’ve got serious FOMO now.
