Beauty Advent Calendars 2021 Thread 3 - Decisions Decisions! (Spoilers included)

Hope it’s ok to have started the thread as we seemed to run out of the last one a bit quickly! And I was really enjoying the thread and reading everyone’s thoughts.

I started reading the first one determined not to buy one this year.

Currently I have the Rituals one and have just ordered the Origins 12 Day one for the 12 days of Christmas!

Let the chat and decisions continue!

Regarding sorting and sorting like others I have my stash sorted into bags of cleansers, toners etc. Now that travel is back on the cards I will use them up that way.

I am so tempted by the Space NK having had a good look at it. And I have £10 of indulge points so would get it for £189.

I really really really really don’t need it though. Really don’t need it.

It's full of teeny, tiny sizes. I was very tempted by it initially, particularly given its lack of black eyeliner, but was really put off by the sizes.

Yes I have the Boots link and a advantage points offer separately but I know that I really don’t want another gold nail varnish and the M&S is more of a contender at that price point as would use the tin for my stash and it’s more varied and I would be more likely to use the nail varnish even if it is predictable….

Ultimate Boots advent calendar- the new more expensive one, showing as sold out now. It does have a nice selection but quite a commitment to the brand. If I hadn’t had the No7 calendars before I would be tempted but they are very similar each year. Nice to have once though

I’ve decided to skip the Boots one as well as I’ve still got unused bits from last years.
Still hoping to get the M & S one.
Anyone that ordered the Space NK one how long did it take to get a confirmation email ?
I ordered this morning & money has gone out my acct but not had any confirmation??

The Harrods calendar has seriously gorgeous packaging ... enjoy it!!

CB dispatch email received today - delivery Monday apparently. And just found my Liberty beauty drop box wedged outside my front door so looking fwd to opening that when the baby is in bed later - see you over on the Liberty thread!

It’s not just luxury calendars being listed on eBay before they’re out. I’m still awaiting the Soap & Glory one and as yet there’s no date for release. Just googled to see if I could find any information on it when some came up on eBay, listed as in stock, at over £20 more than the RRP but with a delivery date of 11-13 December (sent from the UK!) Hmm

My Origins 12 Day calendar arrived today. Not opening it as it’s from DH for Christmas.

Also a Cult Beauty order of two cleansers and a hair treatment. Hmm I am almost out of cleansers so not feeling too guilty!

My Harrods calendar has arrived too! Very excited. But been back to back in meetings all day and now on a train to London for a (very rare!) night out, so it’s still in its brown cardboard packaging.
