M&S does it again!

Spotted in M&S yesterday. The pullover alone is a crime against taste, but the overall styling - what were they thinking?!
Am I missing something? Does anyone actually dress like this? (Bar Alice from the Vicar of Dibley!)

Surely some wag stick the hat on the model for a joke?

I often think their fashion displays are rubbish and can't believe how ugly they can make a quite acceptable skirt or dress. Do they employ window/model dressers or can we all have a go? I used to buy whole outfits from JL years ago cos of how they put a look together.

Whoever set up the whole AW photoshoot needs the sack IMO. They've tried to out do Zara with the stupid poses.

That looks like the description of wizards and witches trying to wear muggle clothing at the Quidditch World Cup.

I have seen a few teenagers dressed like this but it works for them, somehow. Anyone over the age of about 23 would look like a sack of potatoes in that.

They seem to be guilty of serious crimes against fashion ATM! Long frumpy dresses in horrible colours! I have had a long standing RL with them ,however I have been unfaithful and nipped next door to Monsoon!(literally NDN in our shopping centre!) Also prefer trousers and tops .Seem to have an overrun of long shapeless frocks (left over from the 70s!)

That’s just… no. Baggy midi dress with a bad print? Improve it with a cricket pullover!

Oh dear. And I have been loving many of the buys from m and s this autumn. I like knitted vests, I like print midis. But that merchandising is hideous.

OMG, beyond hideous.. The hat is the only item I might consider wearing......and it's probably been dropped by a customer.....

I do wonder sometimes if M&S is trying to sabotage its own sales....

Thanks. That made me laugh. I literally can't think of single person that would look good on. Not the model in the photos, that's for sure. Not me either. Disaster. They are a joke.

The visual merchandisers in stores don’t really get any special training. Sometimes it shows….
