There I was feeling all virtuous for not ordering the Next calendar, and now I've gone and ordered the Next box

I really like the look of the next beauty box plus the Selfridges bags. Next v good value at £45.

Yes this does look good I might get the next one for part of my mum's Christmas actually. I like Murad products and know she does too. The other items look good.

I just bought a different next beauty box for my friend's birthday. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. I get its eco friendly etc but it's just a bit plain/boring. Suppose I can repackage the one for my mum into a stocking or something

I'm still waiting for Rituals to appear in Boots but treated myself to a Bonne Maman jam advent calendar in Costco last night, it was only about £17 I think I know it's not beauty but it's quite stylish (and delish!)

Weird, I’ve just tried to order a Degusta Box for adult DS but it said the payment was stopped by my bank. Clearly something it didn’t like about the payment method. He might get a socks calendar instead if I can find a good one that’s not £££ like Happy Socks

When I tried to order there was no lock to say it was a safe site on the payment page so o haven't risked it. Bit disappointing as it looked really good

No that made me worry too as most companies use some sort of other payment option and not just card!

Ok so I just looked at MAC contents and now I want it! Having rose tinted visions of wearing lipstick again (won't happen) .. so tempting, the contents are really nice and useable.
Also the Next box is amazing value and the selfridges boxes (especially the makeup one - an hourglass lip product and Mac soft and gentle - yes please!)

Degustabox score highly on trust pilot.

@Comefromaway I’ve just been trying to do the same thing! I’m only £5 short of Advantage Points. I wish they would let you pay with points and make up the difference. So frustrating!

I watched an unboxing on YouTube and it looks great!

No option on the Degustabox to put in billing address vs delivery address - I put in my daughter's university address, my card details - and it timed out. So no idea if payment has been taken or not - but no confirmation email etc

Oh, just got a confirmation email, despite card details not matching delivery address and no verification text Well I hope this turns out ok...

I did the same. It ended up costing me 43ish. Plus Advantage points. Result.

I don't know how I'm going to sneak it into the house without the family noticing though - I've already got L’Occitane and H&B

@Gazelda Dc we're asking me last year why I had two calendars (I had third one as well but opened it January in secret) and they only had one. This year I only have H&B and only get John Lewis if it gets reduced.

My mum has just told me she has got me the Look Fantastic box (again!), I’ve ordered the Space NK one for myself and plan to order the Liberty too. Thinking it’s too many so May split one with mum. I’m making my mum’s one - then I know she will like everything!

That Next box is very good actually, much better than I thought it would be

Not an advent calendar as such but in case anyone is interested Aromatherapy Associates have launched their Treasure Chest of products -it is £225 - if you buy before end Sunday you can get a relax candle for free - hope this is useful

I hoping Fenwicks will do another beauty calendar this year; last year's was great.
