Ordered Degustabox for DP. I remember people opening on the threads last year and it sounded really good. Hopefully it's as good this year.

I’ve just ordered the Degustabox advent & will give it to DS1 & his girlfriend or DS2. For myself I’m not 100% but am leaning towards Space NK. Although, I’d like to see what Selfridges offering is first. But if I don’t like it & space NK sell out I might consider Elle. I got it one year reduced to half price (£64) & it was good. The aren’t loads of full sizes, but some good quality products. They often reduce it or do an offer if you subscribe to a magazine.

What's in the degusta Box? I can't see any info about it.

My Clinique one came which is the one I was going to open and use pieces for my grannys Xmas but now I feel bad and think I should just give her the whole thing.
She's 91. There are maybe a few things in there she won't use but I think the majority she will.

I've got on to buy the Degustabox advent and it doesn't have a little lock at the top to say the website is safe!

The Birchbox calendar does look good. Though I already have a jade roller & like using it as it feels lovely.

@NNat, not that I am aware of. Last year they did a site wide promotion around this time where you got £15 off for every £60 spent and which worked for the calendar (reducing the price by £45!) but it’s impossible to know whether anything like that is likely this year. It’s possible if they do have such a promotion they’ll exclude the calendar this time.

I really fancy the MAC box, I’ll probably try and get it (along with M&S) I’m not sure if MAC sell out quickly. I’ve ordered Glossybox cheaply using my account credit but I’m probably going to gift it. Maybe

I really like the look of the next beauty box plus the Selfridges bags. Next v good value at £45.

I was going to send the Degustabox to my D1 at university, but can't see how to send it as a gift without filling in her details to make an account. Am I just being a bit thick, is there an option for sending to a different address?

Those Selfridges bags are showing as sold out!! Does that mean no AC from Selfridges then?

The three non-make up Selfridge bags would make a great calendar: £240, so not far off the price of the rest and 23 items almost all full sized, with not a single sleep spray, AB cream, Avant or Barbara Sturm serum in sight . It’s tempting!

I like the look of the Selfridges beauty bags but they are showing as sold out.
