Classy but understated bag brands?

Just this- don't want to have a flashy bag like a Mulberry for which I'll be judged, but would instead love a high quality bag brand without the show-offy 'look at how much money I've spent' logo. It's just not me. Any suggestions?

If you're looking for something in a similar price range to Mulberry then Smythson is worth a look.

I love my Coach bags. They are such lovely leather and I love the different designs. Very understated but look expensive.

Ferragamo, beautifully made and leather lined. I bought one as a post divorce pressie for myself, and it still gives me great pleasure both for its quality and what it stands for.

I love Bally. They do have some super branded stuff but many beautiful, leather, unbranded bags as well.

We hosted an Italian student for a month who came on a school exchange, and she arrived with exquisite presents for each of the family members. DD and I were given bags from Yuri, a brand I had never heard of, www.yurishop.it/en/ amazing leather, beautifully made.

I know you are looking at something higher end, but I felt I had to share!
