Do you shower and not wash your hair?

Ideally my hair is in best condition being washed once or twice a week but I'm finding it really hard to shower more often than that because it's so long and thick and goes frizzy with the humidity.

How do you all cope. Do you shower just when you're washing your hair or more? If so, how?

I don't have a shower cap.
..... Instead, I pull the bottom of my (crew-neck) night-time t shirt up, so the neck hole gets stuck on my forehead, and the rest of it is inside-out, over my hair. I then grab a large bobble to wrap the t shirt in with the hair, and it stops my hair going frizzy from the steam.

It might look ridiculous, but it works!

@fiorentina

As I exercise frequently I have to wash my hair every day. I like the smell of fresh hair though too, so even if I don’t it usually gets washed and left to dry naturally.
I exercise 4 days a week but don't wash my hair every day

What is this weirdness?! I have long THICK frizzy curly hair that i wash 2/3 times a week. I have never given a thought to avoiding a shower if i am not washing it. It goes in a bun and i shower everyday. Like.... like... a normal fucking person.

I'm in the shower cap club. I'm staggered that it hasn't occurred to some posters to wear one TBH.

I have dry, frizzy hair. If I washed it every day it would look like straw.

I also don't care for rainfall showers. Both of our showers are the type with detachable handles so you can direct the spray to specific areas. Useful, as we don't have a bidet.

@sofato5miles did you read the OP's reasons for not knowing this stuff before referring to a normal fucking person ?

Shower cap if I really don’t want to get my hair wet, topknot on it’s own if it doesn’t matter too much.

Maybe one of those hair turbans is a better option. I should try it myself. I had no idea that shower caps made frizzy hair more frizzy.
