Do you shower and not wash your hair?

Ideally my hair is in best condition being washed once or twice a week but I'm finding it really hard to shower more often than that because it's so long and thick and goes frizzy with the humidity.

How do you all cope. Do you shower just when you're washing your hair or more? If so, how?

OpP is the problem that you only have an overhead shower head? The kind that comes straight down from above? I can see that would make it tricky. I've got a hand held shower that I can position at shoulder height rather than face height iyswim.

I have very thick and long wavy hair that takes an age to dry.

If I washed it every time I showered, I'd have permanently wet hair. I throw it up in a top knot which keeps it out of the way. It gets washed about twice a week.

I have one of those too. Just put your front in to wash your front and then your back in to wash your bum!

I shower every day but only wash my hair weekly. I buy packs of 100 disposable shower caps from Amazon. Each cap can be used loads of times so a pack lasts at least 2 years.

It’s not difficult, mines over head, I have long hair, I clip it up in a. Banana clip and you just dont put your whole body directly under the spray, it isn’t tricky. I’ve a hand held as well but the over head works perfectly to just wash your body,.

Shower every day and wash my hair twice a week.

Put my hair into a clip on top of my head and put a shower cap over it. Take the shower off so I'm holding it by hand and just put it back up standing away when I'm shaving/washing etc.

I use a hand towel wrapped really tight to my head. Crazy curly hair and it really frizzy, I wear it straight most of the time and it goes frizzy with a shower cap! My midwife laughed then decided it was the best thing ever after trying it out

My hair is naturally curly, so I wet it everyday to scrunch the curls up anyway. If I straighten it, I just touch it up with the straighteners if it's got wet in the shower.

I can't believe this is something people find hard. 😕

I bath every morning and wash my hair. It's fine and is greasy without. I've tried washing it less and it doesn't work. I won't wash it during my night time bath though.

Same as above. Waist length curly hair - shove in a shower cap and shower ever day except for days that I run, after which I wash my hair.

I shower twice a day and wash my hair once a week. On that day the shower is longer, a nice body scrub etc, the showers in between are quick, 2 min or less, not long enough to stream the bathroom.

My hair is just longer than shoulder length, wash it in shower about every 3-4 days, other days wrap in a towel, have to alter shower head everyday as the men raise it up for full heigh head wash and I lower to shoulder height spray.

If I'm going to wear hair up ill stick i n a bun and lower shower to point at body or if I'm going to dry shampoo and wear it down ill stick under shower cap

I have a pretty shower cap. There's no other way, my hair can't handle the humidity. I have to have a quick shower after I workout.

I wash my hair every time I shower or bath. I swim every day anyway so it's getting wet one way or another.
