I’ve also indulged in some Toast therapy and have the Ruffle collar shirt on the way to me. Looks like a beautiful sapphire colour. However, I rather fear that I will look like Andy Pandy in it ! We shall see....

Has anyone tried the pintuck skirt? I see one of the Toast stores has featured it on their Instagram today and it looks sooooo nice. Very tempted to give it a shot even though I am not really a skirt wearer.

Oh yes @ScottishMouse it looks much nicer on toastyork’s Instagram. The colour looks nicer and that shirt is lovely with it.
I’ve ordered the cord skirt in BlackForest though. The elastic waist on the Pintuck one is very tempting though.

That is what is especially appealing @Countmeout. I cannot get Toast fitted waists on skirts or trousers to work for me, but an elasticated waist is so much easier. You’re right that the colour looks nicer on the Instagram pics too.

I'm eyeing up the new cord skirt which has a flat front and elasticated back on the waistband. Perfect!

Sigh.... The Alix linen striped trousers in M arrived and are too big! 🤦.I thought that as the XS were so tiny that I struggled to get them on, i'd better go for the M . But they are really baggy on me..
Back to drawing board. Yes , I have now ordered the S!!!🙄

I am really liking some of the Toast skirts but, like many, I am not a big skirt wearer. I would like to see and try that cord skirt in a shop.

@Laska2Meryls, very frustrating re the Alix. Assuming they are coming up large as usual.

The swingy denim dress just arrived and is being returned immediately. It’s very big - I sized down and it still swamped me. It’s also very long, I’m 5’ 2” and it’s down to my ankles. I can stop thinking about it now.

Uniqlo has launched their Ines De La Fressange collarboration and there are a couple of nice fairlisle cardigans for £34.90. Really annoying. I ordered the lichen boat neck T from JL ( wanted a pair of Kin sale shoes) assumingV the fit was similar to other tees. But it’s far smaller. Delicious colour however.
My cord skirt hasn’t yet arrived . I’m normally a day behind but this is particularly slow.
Just having a little moan.

They were there this morning but very limited in sizing. Only XS and S.

Toast T-shirts are very often weirdly sized. It's so annoying!

I have an XL tee (bought from the sale rail in the Harrogate shop in 2019, which is smaller than a small in another style. Both fit just fine.

This. I have to wear a longline vest under them to balance things. Not the best in sunny warm weather! I do love their half sleeves though.

I wonder should I buy l or xs then. In the T-shirt. I love the colour.

The Uniqlo cardigan was in short supply by midday. Wasn’t sure what the fabric would be like. Did anyone order?

My order arrived and it’s all a bit blah. I think it might be me. The gabis I will keep and the apricot cardi but these are both for proper autumn. Nothing else is appealing. The blue seed shirt is pretty - but it’s not screaming ‘I’m yours’. The linen shirt is possible but nowhere near my ‘colours’. But might be worth it for it’s defiance value!

The socks are nice though…

I did try the checked jumpsuit but the medium was drowning me, and the small I couldn’t wrestle my arms into.

Oh that is a shame @ilovecherries. Socks for the win though! I passed by and dropped in to my local Toast on my way home from work and bought a couple of pairs of socks too!
I tried on a few things, in case anyone is interested.
Pintuck skirt - very nice but not wow enough. I probably wouldn’t get that much wear from it. Elasticated waist is good, but not super roomy, so probably go with your normal Toast trousers/skirt size. The colour is what put me off most - it is just slightly off perfect, a deeper shade would be nicer. The fabric does feel lovely though and it looked good with my Blundstones.
Fairisle yoke sweater - this is the same as last year’s and I will be ordering. They only had the dark brown, I would like to see the cinnamon colour, and they only had a M and I would need a S. Would like to wait a while to order but they said it has been flying out the door.
Poplin pj shirt - really like this. I wanted to be able to wear it over other layers as a light jacket type layer and I couldn’t get the sizing to work for that, as it was just a bit too tight on the upper arms and bust with anything more than a thin top underneath. Will have a think about it.
Soft cotton linen herringbone jacket - just too blah. The green colour looks really washed out. The blue is a lovely colour. But it is very soft and floppy and the sleeves were just too voluminous for the shape of the body imo.
Will probably order the fairisle yoke sweater, and maybe the heathered sweater in cinnamon, they didn’t have this in the shop.
Hope some of that is somewhat helpful to someone.
