That is adopted in just about every photo I see? Or even just standing on tiptoes if in bear feet? I find it irrationally annoying.

And no it doesn't affect me in any way I'm just having a (light-hearted) moan!

It kind of elongates the leg so i see why people do it, but i agree on it being annoying af

That and the pigeon toed but on tiptoe stance that is often on adverts for tights or socks.

The one that annoys me is those magazine photoshoots where the model is in mid air in every single shot, and usually has a vacant, quirky, ooh-I’m-so-surprised expression. And usually an asymmetric haircut and far too much dark lipstick. So clichéd.

It annoys me irrationally too. I actually didn’t buy something from a website as the model had that pose and I couldn’t see it properly due to the twatty stance.

It reminds me of the pose modern/jazz dancers adopt when being photographed, so I couldn't do it.

It’s so annoying. When I see it on FB I have to restrain myself from commenting ‘you don’t look thinner, you look ridiculous’
Special mention to looking down at the floor and looking away from the camera like you’ve just been papped.

Ah I don't mind it. Better than the pose du jour in 2012 which was that stupid knock knee pigeony thing.

Ha, I've danced all my life, from ballet to line to burlesque,band I do this instinctively if asked to pose! I'm also mid thirties so possibly look like a twat, but don't care

I hate the pose where they lean back from the waist with arms out to the sides. How the hell can you know if something looks nice when they don't stand up straight?
