Please show me your statement/cocktail rings

I want to treat myself and buy a really nice gemstone, cocktail ring.

I don't want to get married again so I will never have an engagement ring again. But I really like gemstone rings and I want to buy a nice one to enjoy and then to give to my daughter one day. I really like morganite or sapphire but I am open to all gemstones.

Any ideas? Do any of you wear that kind of thing?

I only have myself to blame for starting this thread. But I got another ring that I also really love. This was an antique from a little shop in Greenwich.

I have this one, but would love a coloured stone set one. I love emerald cut aquamarines, or smoke quartz. Will check out some of the suggestions here are there are some beautiful rings.

I'd love an "adore" ring, like this picture. Amethyst, diamond, opal, ruby, emerald.

With all the hand washing and alcohol gel I've got out of the habit of wearing rings.

My mother died a couple of years ago and left me her jewellery. These are a few of the rings. I do try to wear them but I'm more of a silver person.

A few of mine - Diamond and Tanzanite (sparkles so much), diamond and amethyst (about 4.5 carat amethyst and a much better colour than it looks) and a clogau white gold and diamond.

The amethyst originally had a much smaller round stone and had a new setting put in to it to accomodate the big girl. The other two were both second hand bargains

Ooohh it’s beautiful @viewsoftheshard very jealous. Dh bought me a beautiful Boodles bangle for my 30th that was sadly stolen in a burglary 2 years ago. I was heartbroken. But I have my 50th in January so time for something new. But not sure about a new bangle or a ring? Their shop has moved since I was last there, now in Bond Street. It’s the most beautiful shop, it has a bridge 😍

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams harder gemstones can be worn all the time. I wear my ruby and diamond ring all the time and don’t take it off in the shower etc.

Yes I LOVE this. No idea how the price is justifiable. But absolutely beautiful.

This is mine, it’s a really pale and clear aquamarine.

@viewsoftheshard I believe boodles will let you trade in your old jewellery of theirs for new jewellery, maybe you could swop that ring for one of their coloured versions?

Here's my citrine set in silver. I don't like gold. Got it in an independent jeweller in Windermere. I was very lucky because I have fairly small hands (this ring is either I or J) and they only had the one!

@beguilingeyes oh wow, that site is amazing, such beautiful things! I've mentally just spent about £20K. I could pretty much click add all to basket (in my dreams obvs, not in the real world!)

Oops I bought another one after seeing people's gorgeous halo settings and opals. This is also from TJC at £40. By the way, I can absolutely see the difference between my cheapos and some of the exquisite ones on this thread, but mine are a perfect quality/price compromise for me.
