Women you think are ageing beautifully with no intervention

Hi,

So I was watching This Morning and Sharon Marshall was on and I was thinking she must be 50 now and looks absolutely incredible. Not that you can't look incredible at 50, whether you actually look 50 or 30!! This isn't age bashing ATALL, but I just thought how refreshing it was to see a woman looking so good, with no hint of the pillow face, which more and more women seem to be getting these days to fight off the wrinkles.

I'm not anti botox, fillers etc, but I do worry that so many women feel pressure to have this look, rather than daring to grow old/er naturally, because that's what we see as the norm.

Anyway, this isn't an anti anything thread, I just wondered who you thought was growing older particularly beautifully, naturally.

Naomi Campbell has had some work done, for sure. I'd say nose job for sure, and cheekbone fillers or implants.

Omg, yes Mary Nightingale looks gorgeous these days! Is it the longer less styled hair?

Fillers in her jaw angles too. Her jaw angles were never that wide or defined when she was young.

Naomi Campbell also has had a hair transplant. Her edges were wrecked from wearing a weave

Last time I saw Naomi Campbell her cheek fillers looked like golf balls. she'll always be gorgeous though.

What's the story with Joan Collins.....I saw pictures of her lately and had to double check her age....in her 80s!! She obviously has had work done but she doesn't look puffed up or stretched! I know she has good bone structure, wears wigs, sunglasses and hats so maybe that's her secret!

I don't know but I met her not long ago so saw her close up and she was stunning. So glamorous with amazing bones and her skin was radiant.

Joan Collins is evangelical about sun damage on the skin and has always had that opinion; and now you can truly see the rewards.

I couldn't get over how good Cindy Crawford looked on the catwalk on the Friends Reunion. I think Nigella looks good and Helena Bonham Carter, both have been tweaked I would think, but not madly so. Lisa Snowdon too, I suppose what they all have in common is that they're not too thin, I suppose they've got a bit of natural Botox going on.

I agree they all look amazing but think what they've got in common is they've all had loads done to their faces!

I saw Michelle Gayle (was in east Enders about 30 years ago) on a quiz show the other week and was astonished how young she looks (and she didn’t look like she’d had any work done)

Oh yes, Sheila Hancock. Stunning. I saw her on stage a few years ago and the CHARISMA! Couldn't take my eyes off her.

Forgot about Fiona Shaw but yes, she is magnificent (interesting that we all use that word about her!)

Floella Benjamin is uncannily youthful-looking. To my eye she hasn't had work done, but I do confess to being hopeless about telling.

Joan Collins has always said that through a combo of sunglasses, hats and layers of foundation, she's never had her face in the sun.

Gwen Stefani looks exactly the same age as when they released 'Don't speak'

She looks great in photos, but if you watch a video of her talking you'll see she looks completely different - like a different person. The eyes are the same but that's about it. It's really spooky! I loved her as a teen and am so disappointed we don't get to see her real face as she ages.

All these people have had work done ! It's just that some know where to stop.

Completely agree about Fiona Shaw, Jodie Comer as villanelle always gets the headlines for style in killing Eve but Fiona always looks just exquisite as Carolyn.

I think Jane Seymour looks amazing. She must be in her very late 60s now, if not early 70s. She may have had subtle work done, and probably has, but hasn't got the fake, cat eye look that many actresses her age have. She's got a really good figure, too!
