All other issues aside, I love her style! I though she’d become a bit less boho and casual in recent months but the dress is a return to form :o

As for him, I think we can conclude from his wedding look that his hair physically cannot be brushed.

She looks lovely.

The pictures give me a weird feeling though. He looks like the father of the bride, not the groom. It’s cringy.

I had a floral crown when I got married in the late 90s and it wasn't "cringe" as a PP said.

I hate to be negative & judgey, but I don’t like the dress or the flowers. I don’t think she’s especially attractive, but he’s still punching. And he needs punching. It won’t last.

If he was female he would be Anne Widdecombe. The thing about Anne Widdecombe is that she is unashamedly herself. She doesn't care what you think of her.
Nick Clegg is incredibly handsome but is shallow as a puddle.
Looks are certainly not everything.

I read that the wedding was in one of the Chapels of the cathedral. It was not in the main part

I literally cannot understand how such a plain woman with an overbite can be described as beautiful or stunning. They look ridiculous. Her dress is the sort of thing my mother wore in the 70s. I would have put its price as below £200.

I do not know what Paul's wife looks like. But Boris Johnson looks like Carrie's father. If Boris was a youthful-looking and handsome man they might look better matched. But he really does look like her father.

The dress is nice. She can't pull the crown off, it looks a bit ridiculous. It makes her look like she's wearing fancy dress.

You should be. She will be around for the next 5 political decades and she is much more of a political force to reckon with than he will ever be.

Lol, I meant decade politically speaking. Maybe I exaggerated there. I think as Boris has his political sunset, her star will rise - I was googling her background to find out her roots and it was pretty stellar. She appears to be sleeping with the enemy politically though. I find her quite fascinating as a public figure. I am sure we will see much much more of her.

I thought the dress looked like it was knocked up from some old net curtains with a zip down the bodice (maybe the "zip" was embroidery?) Anyway, it looked disastrously ghastly to me.
And it turned my stomach that the much married groom couldn't be bothered to buy a new suit and tie and instead wore the one he's been photographed in when spending time with one of his previous bits on the side - Jennifer Arcuri, if you missed those pics.)

That was awful about his outfit.

Duckface sprang to mind here as well! Far too much floral drama for one head The dress is pretty but looks mismatched to the groom's "look" and the cathedral setting...it all seems a bit incongruous to me (on many, many levels).
