In the spirit of the thread we have all seen (and probably commented on) about this board becoming a bit boring, I thought I would spice things up by starting a thread where we could share things bought recently that we are excited about.

I will start. I got this from River Island. Very puffy sleeves but I am a pear shape so the puffiness balances me out. I love the pattern and is it so spring/summer and pretty. Told myself I'd dust off the sewing machine if needed but it's here and it's perfect. DH commenting on how much taller I looked. It's so flattering and yes, I'll say it, comfortable.

Ooh I love that dress! Can I ask about the material, does it have any give in it? My upper arms are (ahem) on the larger side and the arms look quite snug in the video

Those mom jeans look lovely too - do they work for those of us that don't have love pins but more of a pear shape??

They're truly high waisted, above the belly button high waisted which I have been looking for for ages.

I just got a second pair delivered today in the washed black colour. My advice is size down on the waist, I'm usually a 28 waist in Topshop jeans and had to get a 26 in these. They did seem tight at first but they give a lot and now they're perfect. No waist gap!!

I got 32 leg in the blue and 34 leg in the black as for some reason they came up shorter! (Annoying when sizes are inconsistent)

Oh, just seen that you found it. I haven't worn it yet, definitely thinking trainers, will try black biker jacket or black blazer I think. Or hope the weather is significantly warmer by Saturday when I'm going out!

Has anyone got a pair of white skinnies that aren’t see through? All my jeans are River Island Molly’s and they’re perfect but the white ones I ordered feel really rough, definitely weren’t a 10 and were way too revealing

@FizzyPink I don't have any white ones but Topshop Jamie jeans are great skinnies. They come in white

Thank you @waitingforsun I’ve always been put off Topshop jeans after trying some on once and not understanding the sizing so feeling huge in a pair I couldn’t even get my leg in. But ASOS helpfully recommends my perfect size so I’ll give them a go

Plus a pair of their Hollie jeans which are just so lovely - I have also been wedded to my skinnies so these make a nice change.

I also got a couple of t shirts but have already managed to shrink one in the wash 😞 so I am going to have a go at stretching it back out. It is annoying because I did wash it at 30 just not on a delicate cycle.

I haven't bought anything for over a year so this was a big thing for me. It was actually really nice trying clothes on in the shop - I seem to be useless at online shopping and return virtually everything.
