I’ve got tea at the Ritz owed to me for a big birthday that I had last year. I must get it booked in ( no idea of outfit yet). I just wanted to recommend a stylist on Instagram called Lucie Clifford - she’s a size 16/18 and is a maxi dress lover. She has a little style series too that you can watch with styling advice. I utterly get you; I've just (well over the last year) lost 3 stone but the confidence just isn't there and I just think "fat" when I look in the mirror.

The only people who dress formally in v posh London hotels are from overseas or up from the sticks. Nicely styled and a good blow dry and that dress would take you pretty much anyway. From the Titz to the Schmaldorf and anywhere inbetween.
