Just ordered my first Mulberry bag

Still had birthday money from start of the year, so after constantly looking at them online I have just gone for it! Quite excited but also feel a bit guilty!! It is birthday money and it was my 40 😬

@chocolatesaltyballs22 I’ve not bought a new bag in over a year now!😭😭 I don’t have the money to hand and would have to save, and I’m hopeless at saving...

I think my next bag for winter is going to be more reasonably priced, we’ve moved and I really just walk to and from our high street once or twice a week now, plus go out for various country walks and outings. I’m thinking of something like this from Hicks and Brown:

Both of which would suit my current wardrobe nicely.

I’d love a pochette metis or another Mulberry but sadly the budget doesn’t allow right now!

@Ninkanink I'm on a 2021 handbag ban because I bought too many last year (including a Pochette Metis which I bloody LOVE!!) In my defence, I did sell a couple.

I'm having a dilemma about whether to give my first ever LV to my daughter for her 18th this year (first world problem, I know). She would love it but I can see it getting drinks spilt on it in Spoons!!

Yes I keep thinking the pochette metis would be a great one to start off my ‘journey’ with LV but I’m also worried it might spark too much joy/love/lust!😆Yours is gorgeous. Sigh.

Yes. Absolutely love it 😍

I've got the Lilly in black, I've had it for over 6 years and it still looks brand new, it's such a classic, I love Mulberry, they are such good quality bags. I've got 2 Bayswater's, tan and black mock croc and 2 Anthony's in tan and black - would love the Anthony in the ox blood colour. I also like the Darley quilted across body. I've also got the purse, which gets better with age. These have been gifts over the last 15 years, I just think they're pricing has leapt up in the last few years - I think my first Bayswater was about £600, it's £1000 now.
