This is not sponsored , I'm not advertising or angling to sign people up. I don't work for them- all these facts will become obvious as I think I look shit in all of it.
I love the t shirt detail and like the culottes snd skirt but I'm just too fat of middle and too short I think. Give me your views !
Loved having tucked in waist but think maybe narrower would be better. Skirt lovely and I'm losing weight so maybe ok with good knickers and a different top but I'm not overwhelmed. The bag they sent us lush mind you. And handbags ALWAYS FIT. But I don't need a bag. Do I? I could start another thread on bags. How many I own is dreadful but some (a lot) are cheap and bought for a night out and I'd lose happily. I've no pic but this new one is sage teen quilted leather. Small cross body with gold chain strap so a bit nice for summer drinks out. Keep or lose ? £60...
excuse messy bedroom with endless charity bags and baskets of kids clothes they've outgrown...

Yeah stick to dressing yourself Op. Smile
You'd suit fitted clothes, long sleeve fitted tops, show off your bust, or a wide boat neck to balance your top half. A wrap dress might be ideal for you. All that loose bunched up material isn't flattering, you want to show off your good bits. Agree about the colours too, darker colours, jewel tones would look great.

What a disappointing haul! A sort of frumpy dinner lady vibe.

polkadotpjs · 28/04/2021 09:47

Frumpy dinner lady and Per Una 1993 nailed it 😂😂
Glad I look better dressing myself. Thing is- I have given my eye colour and hair colour (red hair and blue eyes, pale skin )
Maybe they thought I wanted to look naked?

NoSiree · 28/04/2021 09:50

I'm similar colouring (and shape I think, actually - blowing my own trumpet there, as I said you look gorgeous, which you do Grin).

I think they advise people with pale skin and eyes, with fair hair, to wear low contrasting colours and often paler colours. The problem is, for me, that I look like I'm wearing nothing! My hair is really fair, so I'm all one colour if I wear a nude dress. I did wear one recently and dd said I looked naked from a distance Blush. It went to the charity shop after that!

Battleaxeoutofhell · 28/04/2021 09:54

I shop at charity shops (including the bargain bin that a pp mentioned) Grin and I've never worn anything like this.
Op youre not fat at all, you've got a very normal womanly figure..those clothes,it looks as if someone got a note to try to make someone look as frumpy as possible and triedtheir best.
Just so drab and flimsy looking. For someone who isn't at all interested in clothes and style. You can do a lot better!

rookiemere · 28/04/2021 09:56

Some thoughts on nicer options. If you want linen trousers I've just bought these www.whitestuff.com/womens/trousers-and-leggings/dark-navy-maddie-linen-trouser/ and they're reasonably fitted so work well with a skimming top.
Some nice dresses that would work in White Stuff and M&S. I always look for natural material i.e. cotton or linen as it looks and hangs so much nicer than man made materials .
Or - not tried it myself - but a jumpsuit could work well and is very on trend - this www.whitestuff.com/womens/jumpsuits/navy-plain-kochi-jumpsuit/ is probably not the best example, think Boden had better ones.

NoSiree · 28/04/2021 09:58

I also love charity shops and ebay and can still do a lot better for myself than Lookiero based on my experience with them. They work for some people I know. Just not for me!

Quintessentiallyblue · 28/04/2021 10:23

I used this site. Very disappointed in what they chose for me, I'm a size 10 and dress both classically and fitted what they sent me was frumpy and don't get me started on the quality, as they have someone who apparently choose the clothing to your requirements it's disappointing that it doesn't work. I sent the lot back.

devildeepbluesea · 28/04/2021 10:40

I had the same problem with Stitch Fix. I'm short, very hourglass with ginormous norks and they sent me all manner of smocky, high necked, viscose shit. I even fed back that the clothes were AWFUL but the next lot was just as bed.

I unsubscribed, natch.

OP you look great in your own clothes.

Bluesheep8 · 28/04/2021 11:41

£170?! Seriously? Shock anyone wearing those clothes would look as though they've been dragged through a 1990s jumble sale backwards.

Bluesheep8 · 28/04/2021 11:42

And you look perfectly fine in your own clothes op. Whoever this company is, you do not need them in your life!

Anoisagusaris · 28/04/2021 11:46

€170 for the top, skirt, trousers and a bag?

You look waaay better in your own clothes. The other stuff is awful, and cheap looking. Well the trousers are fine but the skirt and T-shirt don’t suit you. You have a fab waist in your own clothes and the colours suit you better.

Cowbells · 28/04/2021 11:51

They really do look like Susan Boyle pre makeover. Nothing wrong with wearing stuff like that but cutting edge fashion from someone who knows how to style you it's not!
Miseryisabutterfly · 28/04/2021 12:04

You look great in your own clothes op. Lookshiteiro are taking the piss.

Reinventinganna · 28/04/2021 12:08

After seeing your shape in your own clothes I think they couldn’t have got it more wrong!
It’s done nothing for you! You have a nice figure and they made you look frumpy.

WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld · 28/04/2021 12:11

You have a lovely figure which your own clothes shows off
The first skirt and trousers are so unflattering on the waist. Only a very skinny person could carry them off and still not look good. The third skirt looks like a charity shop item

grannycake · 28/04/2021 13:13

Whats's with beige on Lookiero. I tried a box earlier this year and the same thing - every item was beige. Sent back and not ordered since. Have had more success with Stitchfix

Bluesheep8 · 28/04/2021 13:20

You look great in your own clothes op. Lookshiteiro are taking the piss.

Lookshiteiro 🤣

MindBodyChocolate · 28/04/2021 14:14

Your stripy top and jeans look really nice! And you have a great shape. I'm afraid the lookeiro stuff is just dire - terrible shape, colour, styling... everything. send it all back.

TeaAddict235 · 28/04/2021 14:47

@Miseryisabutterfly

Couldn't have put it any better. Like you said OP, this is not a sponsored thread, and it looks like the company have scored an own goal as a result. Not my cash thanks!
Itsokthanks · 28/04/2021 14:50

Sorry but that all looks very unflattering

Itsokthanks · 28/04/2021 14:54

I've never heard of lookeiro but if they've chosen this for you they've done an awful job. Looking at the photos in your existing clothes I'd stick to choosing for yourself.

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 28/04/2021 14:54

@polkadotpjs

Pics of me in jeans and yet another striped top but looking better I think (hope) I do have a bit of a waist but very big of tummy currently. Does my own stuff look better?
This is waaaaay better! Stick with your own stuff and if you want new clothes build off of the styles you already own and love. And stay away from beige and ditsy florals
Tisforptarmigan · 28/04/2021 15:09

Oh what a shame that they sent you such dowdy ugly clothes. I would have been so excited to try a new look and be 'styled'. What a disappointment.

You look lovely in your own clothes though. You should include a link to this thread in your comments back to them so they can see how badly wrong they got things.

JoyOrbison · 28/04/2021 15:17

You're figure looks great in your own clothes!

In the selected outfits you look a completely different shape, just a block! And I'm a similar size / shape to you!

Bloody Nora I tjought you were having a laugh with jumble sale clothes on your first pics!! That's not even worth a tenner at a charity shop, let alone £170Shock

The company needs to see this thread to see what a shite business they have.

SwimBaby · 28/04/2021 15:30

You look so much better in your own clothes OP. The dodgy lot are bad, the skirts looks like a skipping through a field skirt and then it’s teamed with what looks like an old sports T-shirt borrowed from your brother.
