Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !!

Did anyone else get a 15% off code as an apology for the terrible service? I should have binned the email straight away, but instead I have left it calling to me from my inbox. It runs out on Friday, and they have the jacket I was after back in stock (not on JL or in my local Toast...though think the discount couldn’t be used there anyway). I really shouldn’t though. Anyone any good news to share on speedy delivery & returns in the last week?

Has anyone got these trainers ?navy Novesta leather
I was looking at them before all of this, but reluctant to risk returns again..

I have Novesta canvas @Laska2Meryls . Don’t know if the leather ones are the same but there’s an annoying(for me) arch support in the (removable) insole. Far too wide for me if I take the insole out. I love the look of them on but wouldn’t walk miles in them. They do wash up lovely though.

I ordered the lotus print pyjamas and they were dispatched within hours. I don't order much from Toast these days, but their nightwear is still such good quality.

One thing I do dislike about them their overseas prices are quite a bit higher than the UK. I have to use a mail forwarding service to keep the cost down.

Nothing much appeals tbh.

I like the Pihu skirt but hopefully it will appear on JL website... If its like last year's Anni skirt ( it looks like it) it may be small in the waist so I will want to try more than one size.

My money is pretty safe for now, nothing tempting me (apart from the gorgeous mobiles). So my sale wish list consists of the blue brushstroke dress (currently £220 so will need to be 50% off!), and possibly the blue and green dress but the reviews are not good so will need to try in-store. Quite nice not to have a huge list of ‘wants’ - strange but nice 🤗

Tala dress ordered on Tuesday is due for delivery tomorrow

I ordered my Tala dress early on Tuesday. Not heard a peep since! And the size I ordered is now out of stock. Hope I’m not going to have more problems...

GoneGrey do you have a BTinternet address by any chance? I didnt get any acknowledgement to my last two orders .. Toast told me a couple of weeks ago that their new ordering system was having problems sending acknowledgements to BT addresses .. (however I am still getting all their marketing mailing!)

I am still keeping fingers crossed that John Lewis get the new Pihu skirt in, because i really dont want to order direct from Toast again atm

Well, I don’t think I will be using my discount code @Laska2Meryls, I just cannot be bothered with any hassle.
As a contrast, I ordered trainers for my kids this week from Adidas. Ordered at 6pm one evening, and they arrived with Royal Mail before lunchtime the following day!

@Saurus72, I definitely won’t be ordering. A mobile at those prices. But if I were going to, you can order direct from the maker. Just saying...

And the novesta trainers are also available elsewhere...

Oh my, you could not make this up.
Got a refund email this morning for the two items I sent back on Tuesday (after waiting to return them to a store to avoid the online hassle and then finding out you can’t do that anymore). Yay, I thought. Opened it up and they had only refunded one of the two items. Spent 45 mins on the chat trying to sort it. Now I have to email them proof of purchase so they can check the weight to see if I really did send two items back!!
So, you can’t return to a store, and if you return by post you have to then prove what you sent? I am so over this nonsense.
