Hello again Toasties !!
Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !!

Yes, the henp one with the square neck and tiers. Looks good on the styling video but will see when it arrives, and if it is adaptable to wear a teeshirt under.

That's how I plan to wear it. I tried the 12 and it was really too big. The 10 was perfect I am a 12-14

It is a very pretty dress! I think i may weaer it tomorrow to work with a tee under it!

I was looking at the Annie side button jeans in ecru but I am feeling a bit too bruised to order them from Toast atm.. I may from JL though to try and then see if they go in the sale later

I really don't want to order directly from them again atm..

ToastcosILoveit I bought the Steve Mono sandals in black in last summer sale. They are fab, but I did need to size up one size .. Id have kept the tan also , but sadly the pair they sent me was faulty

I don't want to order atm either. Just cba with a hassle.

I ended up ordering some Phase8 stone crop s jeans from JL instead.
I dont know. Atm I just feel so off Toast... but there it is...

The last 3 orders have been returned .
Odd shapes, odd sizing, odd fabric.. and the last two I have had to fight for my refunds.. it just doesn't seem like the company it was, sadly.. Maybe I will be proved wrong, but I think that I will just enjoy the old stuff that I have, and look around at other companies..

Could anyone who has the Tala dress please advise if the skirt is very full or not? I'm not keen on very full skirts so wondered if someone could help before I consider ordering. Thank you.

Hi @MrsCat1, i tried the 12 on in the Tala on Saturday: it comes up big and was too big for me (bra showing under arms as reviews said and waist also quite loose). The skirt is quite full but difficult to tell how full as it was big and hanging off of me anyway. I have the 10 coming tomorrow and will report back on how that looks from the skirt perspective.

@neveradullmoment99, the hemp dress/pinafore has arrived from JL in a 10 and 12. There isn't a huge difference in the two sizes i don't think. The 10 fitted but I felt was just a bit too snug around the arms. I could have got away with it if I hadn't planned to also style it with a teeshirt which I think warrants the bigger size. I am busty though and otherwise would have kept the 10. Luckily the 12 didn't seem too proportionately bigger as it flared out from below the bust. it will be a good look with a linen Toast teeshirt and birkenstocks.

I also ordered the Kin oversized collarless organic shirt in a 10 and it absolutely swamps me: sending it back for an 8 or even a 6: crazy. I ordered the Kin angled seam top in black in an XS but that needs to go back too for a small or medium. Sizing is all over the place with everything at the moment.

I think pretty full. I sized down as enormous and in right size the bodice is fitted and the skirt pretty full... I posted pics of last years version which is the same cut.

Ok that's great. Thank you. It doesn't look quite as full as some Toast dresses. In the past I've re-made a couple of Toast frocks and have removed about half of the fabric from the skirt! I'm not keen to do that again!

Has anyone bought anything from Thought? I bought a pair of white hemp paperbag wide leg trousers from their sale today reduced to £24. ( Ordered another pair also just to see) Also a hemp vest top in the sale and the Isobel wide leg hemp cullottes .

Yes have got a few things from thought Laska I bought a summer bamboo dress so soft and great quality also a print top was also pleased with. The fabrics are good and they have decent sales as well.

I have socks from them. very good quality but nothing more exciting than that @Laska2Meryls

That is great news on the dress. Yes, the 10 is made quite high under the arms but I just about get away with it. I had mine on today for the first time and it felt great!

@neveradullmoment99, I am looking forward to wearing mine. i can't wait to get to weather where the tights can come off .

@MrsCat1, the Tala in sage and a 10 has arrived and it is a perfect fit. With the waist hanging correctly now, it is clear the skirt isnt too full, not like the Olin Check poplin dress where there is mich more material. It is a flattering dress with the exception of the arm pits where lots of bra is on display. I am a busty 12 and the 12 was huge, the 10 is perfect aside from the arms. I will be keeping it despite that as I love it.

A review on the website says that the colours are darker: I definitely agree that the sage is a much darker green than the website shows: same for the blue which I saw in store and tried on for sizing.
