Hello again Toasties !!
Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !! Smile

Or to have my Kindred pass renewed - as others have - as a thank you from them for spending LARGE amounts in the pandemic. Instead of a frankly rude and dismissive 'computer says no' response to my email.

@Saurus72 - yes a discount would be nice and very appropriate considering. I did note that they're going to restart photos of people wearing their stuff though

I wrote a reply to them - well if yiu apologise you are sort of asking fof a conversation - but I don't think they really want one. Or they wouldn't have the robot replies to feedback..

People with the Tala dress: I'm usually size 10 pretty much but Toast is recommending the size 8. I don't want to faff with returns as getting to PO is tricky for me. Am I right to size down? How long is it? I'm 5'1. And is it a 'smart' dress or casual? Thank you

Btw I thought the Toast email was good in the sense of acknowledging the issues but pretty crap in terms of resolving the issues every has been having

It feels a bit like a halfhearted apology tbh.. if I have to wait another 10 days for my refund..

And yes they could have offered a discount and I hope that they do, especially to those of us who have been affected .. but perhaps they think that this will cause more backlogs .

I'll be waiting be some time I think before ill be ordering from them

Seriously... Id wait for a bit for ordering ..sooverthemill or see if John Lewis have it.. their ordering and returns are really fast .

It took 10 days from my last order until it arrived (and they took my money on order rather than dispatch and I had no order acknowledgement at all.. now its been 2 weeks from return and I still havent had a refund!

I haven't had an email from them: my last order was literally a day or two before changes to the website so perhaps they have only emailed those who have ordered since? Probably half my wardrobe is Toast so I certainly am a regular customer.

I love that Tala dress too @Sooverthemill but I am not ordering from Toast again until I hear better feedback from this group. I am going to visit the shop though on Saturday or Sunday and try a few things on for sizing (if their changing rooms are open).

@Sooverthemill, I have a few mention me codes and also want the green Tala and I think John Lewis only stock the blue one. Still, not going to spend just yet anywhere as not sure they deserve my business whether it is from the shop, the webiste or JL Smile.

I have that dress - from JL!
I ordered usual Toast size but returned for smaller as v gapey under arms. Are you petite? It's a 'big' dress - lots of volume in the skirt. And long. I'm 5'4" and it's low calf on me. V nice fabric and nice shape on me. Will wear with just trainers in summer but could definitely take you to a garden party if such a thing still exists. 😀

I bet they did too *@faustina* - and really why wouldn’t they, it’s free and insightful customer feedback from people who are engaged with the brand. She doesn’t address sizing issues in the email - plus wouldn’t it have been nice to have a lovely little discount code to ease the pain 😆
I think you are right. Many other companies do. I mean what is 15% for goodwill? Its a bit shit but I am glad we have had some response. I got a similar reply after I left a stinking review on instagram.

Ive not placed any orders simply because of the issues. So it can't be that. Are you kindred? Maybe it is that?

I returned an order worth £165 on Tuesday and got a just received an email notification of my refund today so hopefully Toast are sorting out their teething troubles. I paid via PayPal and the notification is from them rather than Toast themselves.
