Hello again Toasties !!
Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !!

I can see there a few but sold out on the Toast site like that lovely jumper. I’m ever hopeful for the piha dress being reduced 🤞🏼

Just coming on to say the same. I have ordered the fairisle jumper in a large as it’s sold out on Toast. I’m not convinced the M is right with my far too ample chest 😬.
If I have to return the toast one the returns process will be interesting. I did pay PayPal though which I think helps (totally crossing my fingers that’s true)

Thanks to all you enablers with info on the secret JL sale and Insta styling vid I have just ordered the black twill Gabi's 😂. My Toast sale order has still not arrived 😔

I got my pink check dress from JL.
Sadly even the size 8 is far too big and too long. Very generous sizing, I’m a bog standard size 10 and even belted it didn’t work, there was loads of material bunched up at the back. Nice material, but I was hoping for something that didn’t need ironing at all, and this will after washing. Colour is more muted than on the website, I liked that.

Back it goes!

I have downloaded my returns code for the jumper and I’ll drop it off at PO tomorrow. It’ll be Interesting to see how long the refund takes.

@ToastCosILoveIt I’ve been looking at that dress. I tried to find it in two London Toast shops, but not a single one was available. It looks generously sized, but it’s all a wild stab in the dark re sizing.

Thanks @AuldFox, I have also looked when in the shops and not found it. A 10 is recommended for me on the site but going to wait to see if it goes in the sale x

Has anyone seen the Kin Julmeme collection at JL? Some nice stuff..
I have ordered the blue lotus print tee .. like the black trousers also..

@Laska2Meryls, I got the graphic print boxy teeshirt in that range. As is usual with Kin, it is very oversized so got the small which is still big. The blue lotus teeshirt looks good.

I am having a major wardrobe sort out so getting rid of lots and trying not to buy replacements! Lots from Kin, Toast and Cos about to go on ebay!

@ToastCosILoveIt are you able to take advantage of Toast Circle? I saw lots of nice items to swap in the Notting hill shop. I need to go back there with some of my own, I’ve lost weight and many things no longer fit.

@auldfox, yes I am and maybe that is the way to go. I too have lost weight and so swapping some of the toast 12s (or occassional 14) for 10s. Thanks for the tip, may go to the Marylebone and Notting Hill ones as they are close geographically.

A quick report back on the cotton linen tapered trousers: they are really really nice! Possibly even nicer than my Alix trousers which I wore to death last year. Not flat fronted like the Alix, but they're just as flattering (not too much fabric at the front as quite a few reviews say) - very neat fitting, but an elasticated waist so not uncomfortable), slightly high waisted but not too much so. Almost 10/10 Toast! Will take pics later if there's time

I ordered the Osaka tunic and the raspberry check shirt on 16 June. They arrived without prior warning on 21 June. The check shirt wasn't the right colour (it's a beautiful pink but the background colour is too brown for me) so I returned it the same day, and I got my refund today, the 23rd, via Paypal. Just thought I'd post for info.

The Osaka tunic is really vibrant, if a little larger than I'd like, and I'll enjoy wearing it in cooler weather.

Update so my Toast sale order from last weds still not arrived & no communication since order, my JL order from yesterday had email notification of dispatch today talk about a contrast 🙄
