Hello again Toasties !!
Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !!

Thought I'd share my new toastesque dress that I had made for me. I used this pattern and just bought inexpensive chambray to see how it looked and I think I may now have it made in more expensive linen. It has pockets! I'm going to look at their other patterns now

Some good news re Toast: I returned the wide brimmed hat on Wedneday and they have refunded me today. I also placed an order on Sunday 30th and it arrived this am.

The website doesn't seem to be updated with any reviews which is a shame for some of the new pieces.

Is it just me or is anyone else just waiting for a sale? There are a few things I like the look of but not at full price. A discount might tempt me though .
I'm planning to sort out my summer wardrobe today....I've been surviving on a couple of Toast summer dresses that were missed in my end of summer packing away session last year. I'm actually really looking forward to saying goodbye to boots and jumpers for a few months (hopefully). I've a feeling though that as I wasn't exactly out and about last summer, that I have lots of newish Toasty clothing waiting for me...so not sure I'll buy much even if there is a sale. I seem to recall buying quite a few new nightdresses/PJs/Robes last summer, so really looking forward to those.
In fact I noticed in lockdown how much time I spend in nightwear and gowns, and think I will invest more in those things in future. I do love a toast gown. I imagine myself wafting about elegantly, which is in no way the reality, but in my head I look fabulous and it makes me smile...and that's all that matters .

Looking forward to the sale. There is a few things I am looking out for too! I wonder how they will manage with an influx of orders though considering the disaster that unfolded with shopify.

@neveradullmoment99 that’s a good point... I wonder if they’ve held off with a sale until they know they can cope? I’m sure there was a sale earlier than this last year.

Just popped in to see if anyone knew anything about sale. But will have to be patient!

Yip, think they have held off. Can you imagine the returns?

No idea when the sale is and not sure when it was last year but agree they definitely had one in between. Maybe it was late June?
Do they not usually do high summer stuff?

Looking back at my purchases last year, I bought sale items in April, May, June & July! I seem to recall they had kind of short mini sales during lockdown quite frequently. Not sure they usually do that?

Just checking in to say that I am wearing the Tala Floral Poplin dresses loads. I bought the pesto one and then, in a mad moment, bought the Ocean Blue one too. I am almost alternating them by the day. They are great for this time of year and this beautiful weather.

I am sending the Garment Dyed Round Cotton tee back. I bought it in the teal: it may be the sunny weather but it looked drab and didn't lift my spirits.

Agree @ToastCosILoveIt great dress. Not so much skirt as some of my others.

I am definitely waiting for the sale. But yes still being wary, I think that there are pnly a couple of things that id be tempted by anyway atm... ( Famous last words!🤣)
I have bought a couple of things recently , The Hush Sonara linen jersey dress (like it but having to exchange that as it comes up big). Also some rather lush Russell and Bromley sandals so I have blown this month's budget ( again!)

I'd still like the Toast Pihu skirt, so hopefully that will be in the sale..

Actually I bought 2 pairs of Russell and Bromley sandals .. The others were these. Ooops!

@Laska2Meryls, I love those Russell sandals, particularly the first pair. The Hush dress is good too. Is it big enough to size down in? I am a 12 but busty.

I bought a teeshirt dress in Uniqlo for £14.90: surprisingly flattering and with side pocets: sleeveless but comes to edge of shoulders so very flattering. I liked it so much I bought a black one and a blue one.

Also bought a couple of the Uniqlo Merimekko dresses.

I originally ordered the 14 in the Hush dress ( busty here also as usually need a 14 for boobs) as I thought that it would be clingy, but it was pretty big, If i were you i'd try a 10.. I haven't had my 12 exchange yet but when it does ill report back. Sadly it doesnt have pockets , if it did it would be perfect .. !

@Laska2Meryls Yes! They are gorgeous. In the tan. Just what I was looking for (= needed to cheer myself up!).

They are fab, you were lucky, every time I looked online last week the tan were oos, but a pair turned up in my nearest R&B store at the weekend.. ( but maybe they have had a new delivery now)

They had a few in every size (although only one in my size) when I looked earlier, but now they are all sold out. I’ve had this issue with R&B in the past, it looks like the shoes are selling out quickly, but they restock often.
